Yes if ya wanna scratch up the inside. I sold my old OEM to a guy years back and he got it inside but it didn't look pretty and i'm sure even with blankets etc.. something got scratched or dinged.
ehhh thats what i wanted to avoid removing the seats...just lazy =/
would removing my spare give me extra room to fit the muffler in the trunk?
^^^ your willing to take out the spare but not willing to take out the seat... I dont see the difference in difficulty there. but anyhow, try it and let us know if that works cause Ive never tried it that way..

hmmm...mine didnt get scratched and I had plenty of room - did he take the seat out? if not - thats prolly why it didnt "look pretty"
Will an aftermarket oem style exhaust system, non duals ie. NISMO catback fit in the 350z?
Trying to pick one up this weekend and might not work out if it doesn't fit.
I swapped my OEM exhaust for Bassani last year and drove to a friends house who has a lift. The Bassani fit on the way there and the OEM fit on the way home with passenger seat and spare tire still in the car. I just brought plenty of thick blankets for the pieces in the trunk and on the seat to keep things from getting dirty. I think I have pictures of the Bassani in the car but not the OEM.
As the previous person mentioned, it's quick enough to take out the passenger seat if you're afraid you won't have enough room but it should all fit even with the seat in the car.
just put the muffler in the trunk space and the remaining pipes in the front passenger seat. you must move the seat all the way back lower the back down then you can fit everything inside...just wrap everything up nicely and put your seat belt around the pipes in the front seat so they don't move around and you'll be fine!
i dont see why it wont fit. i have fit many different kind of true dual exhaust in my car including the stock one without having to take out my spare or front seat
