Dealer service dept. f**ked up paint etc. Need advice
Took my '03 touring in to get the holes in the front bumper plugged and painted. I get the car back (3 days later) and most of the front bumper was repainted. Overspray is on the headlights, engine bay, tires wheel wells etc.. Not a lot, but enough for an enthusiast to notice. I got under the car and it's on the bottom of the bumper too (black part). Everything has been documented.
Also, there are 3 new scratches on the interior. The sales manager has already agreed to get the front redone by the body shop of my choice. However, I have an appointment with the service manager tomorrow morning at 10:00am to show him the overspray and scratches. Here's the problem. The service manager sounded like a real dick when I talked to him today over the phone. I want the interior panels replaced and the overspray removed. The overspray is also hard to see unless in direct sunlight. I assume this will be hard to show him in low light conditions. I plan to make a scene if they don't oblige with my every request. But what else can I do in the meantime? Should I contact NNA about this or will this only **** the dealer off (and possibly hurt me)???

Damn. that sucks hate hearing these horror stories. Sounds like a crappy job. you expect the car would be returned to you in the same condition you left it. looks like they never removed the bumper to spray it and sprayed it right on the car. that can be ok if they cover up everything but it looks like they messed that up. I would raise hell if they can't make the car look exactly like it did when you dropped it off. BASTARDS!
