. . . . if only I'd been willing to pay $10,000 over sticker. Ouch! They called Friday evening about 6:30. They had one available, and the price was $42k and some change. (I don't remember the exact number. When I heard "forty-two . . ." my brain shut down.) I said "How much markup is that." Salesperson said "$10,000."
Well, here's to you Trophy: Thanks for thinking of me, but no thanks. When I'm ready to buy a Murano for my wife, I'll think of you too . . . while I'm on my way to another Nissan dealer.
To their credit, at least they didn't try to disguise it as paint protection or some other ********.

I cancelled a chrome silver touring 6MT from them last week. They told me at the time (Bruce the sales manager) that they were required to sell my car at MSRP. I asked again, and he said that he could NOT mark a pre-order up. Call Bruce the sales manager, he's a snake but thats what he said. actually he said he had to sell it at "sticker", so maybe he wrote 42,000 on a post-it and stuck it to the window.
I got the call from Trophy Nissan on Saturday morning that my car was here. And for a while there I was having doubts about choosing PPW, but after driving over there and seeing it, I fell in love! ANd like everyone says the car looks so much better in person. I was dealing directly with Keith Pearce for the most part and I got the straight pre-order price. NO MARK UP WHAT-SO-EVER!! I did hear however how they sold that one car for 10K over sticker....thats crazy. I pick the car up on Tuesday and can't wait.....(maybe tomorrow if they are open)

With all due respect to the Z, for $42,000 you can buy a brand new, well-equipped Corvette. Or, you could wait a few months or a year until the hype dies down and supply ramps up, and buy that same Z for $32,000, and spend that $10,000 on mods.
