my Z in newsweek
Great article!
Wonder what they'd think of me. I'm single with four vehicles. 2003 350Z, 1998 GTP, 1991 GMC Syclone, 1979 Jeep CJ5 (currently in the middle of a 5 year long engine swap project
). I sold a couple of '66 Caddys a couple of years ago (convertible and parts car).
I'll sell the GTP after winter probably. I don't NEED these vehicles, but they are fun

The writer of the article was looking for an "average joe" family that has three cars and recently purchased one as a "fun car". We just happened to fit that exactly.
It was kind of fun having our picture in newsweek, but I wished they would of used one where we were all smiling. He also didn't point out that the "Honda Civic" is a "Honda Civic Hybrid". I tried to explain what purpose we have for each car, but that didn't make into the article, nor did my wife's or daughter's names.
My CA personalized plates should be coming soon (Jan 04) that will say: "SHFTZ33".
First time I've ever had a personalized plate. I'm must be getting wild in my old age.
I'm sure everyone is having a lot of fun with my last name. Hard to get everyone to pronounce those old german names correctly.
