I've driven about 340 miles in one tankful; from Jacksonville, FL to Leesburg, FL and back to Jacksonville. Varying degrees of acceleration - no cruise control. I had to go through several small towns, like Citra, Stark, Ocala, Lady Lake, The Villages, etc.. and cops were running speed traps in most of them.

I've driven about 150 miles when the car was on E and had the (-----) flashing. Still only filled up at 18 gallons.

Pretty consistent with filling up at about 350 miles for mixed city/freeway. Usually put in about 16 gallons.

How many of the people posting in this thread have faulty fuel sending units or cut-offs? When you fill it all the way up does it register past 3/4 or 7/8 full? I have a feeling some of the people who have never gone more than 350 miles on a tank have broken cars...

just streched to 360 before dte with mixed city and highway. if you upshift at 2500 and dont drive above 70 it really makes a difference. next step is to drive past dte 0

Ditto. If I were concerned about gas mileage, I'd have bought something less... well, less.

But the 'puter on the car says I get about 21.5 with an average of 45 mph.
