Default Question about selling an exhaust

I just put a new exhaust on the car, how much do you think i could sell the original stock exhaust for? Its practically new and i still have it.

Thanks,

Eric

I'd keep it, seal up the ends, and hang it from the ceiling as a modern work of art.

Little to nothing. It cost more to ship it than most people will pay for one.

I sold mine locally for $100. Just post it on Craigslist for $200 and see what happens. Mine had 30k miles on it.

Wassup Eric, welcome to the site.

Exhaust/intake questions have their own sub-forum in which to be asked and this question has been covered extensively.

Please refer to the marketplace to determine how much your exhaust is worth in relation to what others have sold for:

keep it bro, that way when you go to sell it and the only thing keeping you from doing so is the aftermarket exhaust, bam, you can tell the guy you still have the oem!

I sold my exhaust for $125.00 picked up locally. i had my stock exhaust for about 3 months and then upgraded to a fujitsubo system, the old exhaust sat in my garage for about 9-10 months and then i sold it.

some people sell the car de-modded and then sell the upgrades seperate, other people sell the car with mods to increase its worth to the buyer and then sell the stock parts, there are pros and cons to both methods.

note: that price was for rear section of exhaust, i sold y-pipe, and stock cats also.

the y pipe will go for around 100 to 150. The rest wont sell for more than 30 each. I have been trying to sell my muffler and mid pipe for quite some time, but wont sell.

When you sell your Z, & u will at some point it will be nice to put the OEM exhaust on and sell the after market to get more $$$ than if you sell the z wif da nice exhaust. Too many people will think they are getting something for free, IMO better to sell separately. Good ruck feLLa
