Default how much does it cost you to ship

i wanted to ship a bumper out to my cousin who also has a z but i was curious on what are the usual rates and cost to ship a bumper a couple states over im guessing the box is 6x2x2 for the front and would way about 20 pounds my who was helping me with this said it would cost close to $300 to ship out of state does this seem outrageous to you or in the ball bark i talk to ups general number and they said $30 but i think the guy messed up the the dimensions and there website said it was to big?? any help would be aprreciated

Call a Greyhound bus depot and ask them as it is quite a bit cheaper.

^^^ what he said. I shipped a front bumper for less than $60. You can get a qoute online with Greyhound as well.

These. I shipped my OEM front and rear bumper on separate occassions and they were in the $50-$60 range. Go to their site and you can enter the box dimensions and weight and it will calculate the postage for you. http://www.shipgreyhound.com/

I think it took about 36 hours for the one I sent from NC to TX.

I was getting the same $250-$300 quoates from UPS and FedSex to ship an Ings lip kit to the eastcoast... Any vendors here that can maybe give some advice?

no im having issues finding a boxy that is big enough to fit any ideas it has to be boxed to be shipped

improvise & make your own box.....maybe attaching 2 boxes together.

I went to a local body shop and asked if they had any large boxes that they were throwing away. The first one that I went to told me I could have anything at the dumpster that I wanted. I have heard people had luck at places that sell appliances as well.
