it's the jerks that decide that your car is better then theirs and get jealous.. some moron in a jetta decided to pass me really fast while i was driving normally minding my own business... I am starting to think nothing of them cause i'm concious about the fact that i'm faster then him all ready so I don't have to prove anything..

Well, as other people have put it...it attracts a lot of attention; some good, some bad. I just wish that instead of an alarm system, there was a DVD video screen that played whenever the car sensed it was getting tampered with. Mine would show how I worked my a$$ off to go from having nothing to actually getting this car. Maybe people would be less jealous if they were aware that a little hard work is all it takes...naaaaah...the next punk that trys to take a crack at my car is getting a 9MM rectal-breech!

Funny, now that I own a fast car I drive it like a grandma most of the time. I know it's fast. The soccer mom knows it's fast. The guy with the dubs on a rusted-out Honda knows it's fast. Well, I guess I've got nothing to prove then...

The bottom line is that 350Z's are flypaper for a$$holes!

You got it and they don't so they have to compensate by damaging it somehow to make themselves feel better.

I usually go out of my way to park as far away from other cars as possible wherever I go and still I have seen people whip into the spot right next to me and fling their door open without a care in the world. Luckily I have not gotten hit by one of these people yet, but I will say this:

"may God have mercy on the person who hits my car... because I sure as Hell won't!"

You know, I feel the same way. Accident-free for over 10 years, then first 2 hours into ownership of the Z, got a stone chip and then crack on the windshield from an as..h..le passing me at high speed. Then 2 weeks later, got rear-ended. And when I took my Z to the bodyshop to repair the rear bumper, they told me they have already worked on quite a few Z's the short time they have come out.

And like you, Archman, I drive like a 90 year-old old lady now. That's ironic because I drive much faster with my 4500 lbs. 150 hp SUV. I am just having to constantly watch other drivers on the road who seem to be distracted by the Z (for obvious reason of course) or trying to pass me or cut me off just to make themselves feel good when tell their friends that they have just today raced and beat the Z.

Yep, I get this all the time too. Sometimes ill just drive my other car to work, but sometimes I get a lot of crap in it too. It looks stock other than the wheels, FMIC and a loud *** fart-cannon! (catless turbo exaust) It sounds good for an I4, but its loud as hell.

The worst people are the unhappy middle aged guys in minivans. For some reason or another they are really pissed off and either cut me off or speed up like they are racing me, then slow down and do it again. I actually made a big cardboard sign that says "My cruse control is on, whats your problem *****?" and on the other side it says "Go away, ******." Needless to say this dosen't usually help the situation, but I wouldn't be holding it up if they were not being ******. And they wouldn't see the sign at all if they wernt stareing at me.

Just the thought of someone keying my car frightens me.
