meh, if the hoses are getting old and brittle might as well get them. racing thermostat doesnt do jack. you can take your stock one out and you'd still get to operating temps in a hurry.

I got both the racing thermostat and the hoses for a little less than I would have paid for an OEM thermostat. The OEM hoses are stock and little brittle.

Shouldn't a sports car be loud?

long tubes into a turboxs 3 inch y-pipe into this invidia catback will probably be loud, but that's what I'm going for...

I've read the same thing, if that's the case I'll just put the stock y-pipe on, but I am sure my mechanic can macgyver something

I've had the displeasure of doing some suburb cruising/ light to light runs in a strait through longtube to Invidia Pro-1 exhaust an it was extremely loud on the VQ.

a small part of me liked it, but only on a race/weekend car... The owners who's car I was in last about 1 week before changing it up to quieten it down. Anything you might put a girl in, I'd say no way. There is no conversating.

good luck and congratz on the new mods.

it is a weekend/non-daily driver, and i'm married so since the wife said go ahead you know its on

the invidia came with "silencers" which I might use, doubt it'll detract from the performance.

Nice choice of modZ, I personally would have rather done the installs myself & have more $$ for more mods. Post up some pics when you get the car back.
