just drove the car home.

no rasp at low rpms at all, its a deep, mellow sound, sorta like what you would expect from a v8, but without the super "rawr" at the end...

the clutch + flywheel will take a little bit getting used to. the flywheel is a non-adjustable one (compared to stock) and its engagement is slightly harsher than stock, but I am not worried about that. Its a VERY smooth shift, rpms go up pretty quickly, noticeably quicker than stock (obviously). driving with the windows down at cruising speeds the car is pretty loud, not super race loud, but its not WOT, I am sure at WOT it'll be 2x or 3x louder...

so far so good, I'll post a sound clip either later today or tomorrow.

So what are your untuned driving impressions. Can you feel the power of the headers?

still breaking in clutch so nothing WOT in gear

its an 03 touring

so far the power is pretty obvious though I'm not getting used to it since it'll be uprev'd in two or so weeks so it'll be an easy 20hp above what it is now...overall the car sounds good and pushes noticeably harder. I am amazed people don't hqve these headers as a standard mod, even though its a pain to install.

Very cool. Im interested in the tune results at r/t.

What was you previous set up just an exhaust?

The long tubes eliminate the need for test pipes/hfc correct?

I had the same setup, very loud.. I hated the look of the invidia n1 though.. sounds great

i thought about headers but they are a waste of money in terms of buying them and installation unless you do them yourself. I would prolly get headers if i was goin FI.
