Off-Road Capabilites?
I just don't have the time or patience to learn the mechanics of things. That's why I asked, to get helpful information
I know it's probably not your every day request, but I'm sure on a board full of gear heads some of you will have the knowledge to at least lend me information
I mean, people do things with cars that were meant for other things all the time.
The Volkswagon Beetle was never meant to be an off-road vehicle and now I see more dun-buggies than normal bugs. TRUCKS! I see so many guys that have new 4-door trucks and try to lower them and put chips in them with exhaust and try to race me in my car and on my bike.... I mean, to me that is absolutely ridiculous and hilarious, but to each their own. If they asked for advice and I had no idea or nothing good to say, I would just not waste my time typing unlike some of you guys.

OP...you can have just about ANYTHING made these days. With that said use some thought. There aren't many (if any that I know of) that make parts for a "Rally/Off Road" capable Z.
You will need to have custom suspension parts made for the most part. Now these can be as simple as fabricated brackets to make a suspension from another vehicle work or as extravagant as custom arms, etc.
Skid plates are what they are...there are some made for on road use that will be functional for what you need but for off road you will most likely need more (mainly to protect the CF drivshaft is the BIG one I would think that would be "necessary")
Tires are 3rd and those are what they are it's just a matter of setting up the car for the sizes you need to get the appropriate tread design desired for your use.

Thanks again.
Where in the world did I mention lifting it? I never said I wanted to put 35" tires on it. All of you guys must hate your life so much to be so bothered by the idea that someone wants to do something different with their car. I know very well that there are cars for this, like the STI or the EVO but I have a 350z so that's what I'm working with.
Yes, I'm admittedly very close minded to the idea of a 350z (as well as a list of other vehicles) being turned into an off road vehicle.
I'm also not a fan of FWD drift cars.
Or Hummer trailer queens.

This thread, and the one about who jumps their Z, are in a dead heat for "most ridiculous things you could do to/in a Z". But I'm too simple minded to decide which is in first place.
