If the car is a total loss, the thing that I will be taking out of it is the seats, the Pioneer system and DD unit, The intake, Cf engine Covers, and the PS2 in my glove that is linked to the DD unit. Unfortunately, the window motors will stay.

"frame" meaning the outline of the car up top. Where the rear bumper would bolt to, so to say. That is also part of the framework with the Z being a uni-body. And i do not mean the plastic bumper, i mean the support bumper bolts to the rear section of the frame. If that has been pushed in it would need to be pulled.

after a trip to pintos auto body... i was told the rear part of the car that he called part of the chassis... which is most likely what you are reffering to as the frame.. is smashed in like an accordion.. so you were right in the beginning.. the frame is smashed and the mechanic told me they drill out and weld in a whole new rear piece .. this is what makes up most of the "serious" damage. i did not know that the rear quarter panel fender is actually welded onto the car

Default Update

car was totaled. It was towed away and I received 13000. Currently in the market for a 04-06 g35, 02-03 M3, or a 05-07 350z of course. Willing to spend anything up to 20000, if it is worth it. If I do not get a z/g I will be selling off plenty of things. I kept the plenum spacer, pioneer avh3100, brand new shift ****, 2 10' rockford fosgate punch P2s in a custom box complete with amp and digital capacitor(all rockford fosgate with wiring),Afe intake, all kinds of carbon accesories, and more.

Wanted to put an end to this thread. I ended up buying a 2006 mercedes
c350 off of a private owner. Its a 6speed and is in unbelievable condition for a used car. I looked at over 20 cars by the time I saw this car and nothing compared to the shape the owner kept it in. I will post up pics tomorow for anyone who is interested. The car is great to drive. It is the sport package with all the bells and whistles.
