So whats up with having to pull fuses or cutting wires? I want to know what's up with Zs as far as fancy-shmancy-useless electronic crap Nissan fitted them with.

It's a safety feature. It's just as useless as your airbags. Fuel is cut while braking in gear.

P.S., bypassing the system out could gain you some serious liabilities if you were to injure someone in an accident. Being able to do burnouts with your DD is not on the list of reasons you would want to bypass it.

Probably cause the Z is a sportscar, not really a drag car. There is no (left foot brakers will argue) advantage in using brakes and throttle at the same time while carving corners.

It just seems annoying with all that useless crap Nissan shoved in there. Wouldn't see any of this on a carburetor car, but on the flipside plenty of repair time.

"All that useless crap" keeps us from having to worry about having the car go WOT and not being able to do anything about it. It's also kept our cars from being whacked by the loss of value the world's biggest automotive recall visited on Toyota owners.

Turn off the TCS. All you got to do it press the TCS button. you don't have to remove any fuses or anything. LOL

You do realize that Lambo's, Ferrari's, Porche's all have a similar feature. The car is not meant to do retard burnouts.

If you drain your oil and trans fluid, that would permanently burn out your engine or transmission, or both.

i do not know the answer, but if you know the problem is solved by pulling the fuse out, then why not create a switch between powering from the fuse???????

When you want to peel out, FLIP THE SWITCH!!!!

You are giving up too soon.
All you have to do is Plant the brake hard with your left foot. Put the car in "D" and then plant the gas pedal to the floor.
It may take a second or two, but eventually you will get a lot of burning and smoke and everyone will be checking out how epic things are.
