he's thinkin he's fast and furious.

"lemme throw on a supercharger with my AWD 350Z (IF YOU EVEN OWN ONE) and run 9's!!!"

while you're at it, throw on some stickers on your imaginary car of yours, it'll give you 50hp to the wheel.

I got some pics for ya !

BTW your a tool. If your seriously going to spent 30k for that then you better be Bill Gates rich. Either that or your daddys little playtoy. If you want better traction at the track just get some Dr's. Go play games some where else.

What not invest your money in something that is AWD that has a proven track record. This could turn into a nightmare and you can bet that you will not re-coup your investment. This sounds very weird to me? But GOOD Luck!

are you kidding? your parents are trying to pay off your stupidity with gifts?? tell them to take the money they insist on giving you...put it into a bank account...and save for a house or something. maybe you can actually move out when you graduate college and get a job.....

what am i saying? if this is all true....they'll just buy you a house and continue picking off the money tree in the backyard and feeding it to you.

you should be a kids book writer cause you have a good imagination.

question....can this "so called" 11 second car you're building fly?

what do you usually get for presents? 25K worth of presents? man, don't your parents have anything better to spend it on than someone that will just go an waste it like you???

your story was sniffed out by anyone that read this thread. go to another forum and try again.

and, if this 1 in a million story is true....we want pics IMMEDIATELY! so...go do your best photoshop to attempt to make us believe. haha.

Yeah, the guy's full of BS. But here's the story on the G35X (i.e. the AWD option that can be added to the 2004 5AT G35 Sedan)... It is a great system that can vary how much of the power is transferred to the front depending on conditions. Above 15 MPH, it's entirely RWD. Same system as the FX35 AWD option.

It's for safety reasons, NOT PERFORMANCE. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

hey Imazlpr,
that'd be sweet to have an awd Z..
anyways, could you tell us which shop is going to do the conversion? and since you already know it's gonna cost around $30G, you must have done some research on parts and labor costs.
Could you post an item by item cost for this conversion? Just want to know how it's gonna run you $30G.

Man, easy on the kid.

From his last post, it seems like he just though of the idea while on the toilet a minute ago and decided to share it with our lovely forum.

Yeah, I think he got the message now (simply doesn't make sense to do something like that) and hopefully he doesn't waste anymore money.

Someone mentioned something about a "money tree", now THAT'S WAY MORE INTERESTING than this thread, can that person explain how the "money tree" grow?

i said that. haha.

i have no idea how they grow....people like Imazlpr just brag about them all the time. you should ask them how to grow one and how to maintain it. they never tell their secret.

if you find out...tell me...i'd love one.

Just my opinion, but I got a 350Z for style purposes. Just a nice car to look good in and is also pretty quick. But I don't see why anyone would spend $30K in mods and $35K for the car just for a 11 second quarter-mile time. Unless they got ALOT of money to waste. I'm fine with bolt-ons and so-so with turbos but I don't think any of those mods would be over 20K.

I'm sure I can build a 10 second civic hatchback for 10K and still have a Z to drive to school.

But say he does do it....

I think that would be awsome! May not be many of our styles or what we would all do with our 30k but hey.....

why do people but japanese stickers on domestic cars?

why do people spend all that money on their 87' fiero's to make them look like the sh*test examples of lambo's and ferrari's

people do alot of different sh*t

good luck kid

Calling us haters actually implies that he's a player. I doubt that, as most women I go out with can smell bs a mile away. If he really has money, then a machine like a 350Z wouldn't have been bought for him by his parents, but a Camaro more suits him. Perhaps a covertable V6 Camaro, with fake SS stripes.

I drive a Sentra, but I don't pretend that I'm going to do anything to it, let alone get my little 1.8 liters of fire breathing fury out of the 17's. That's right, 17's baby! Not just a tire size anymore!

well ya see, its not REALLY that 30k is so crazy(I bet theres a few here that arent too far from that number already) but ya see, for 30k, you could EASILY get a custom turbo, custom forged internals, and tuned, all together for 700hp. along with that, rims, suspension, and a fair amount of light weight body parts. and have 11s if not 10s. for 30k, AWD simply isnt the most cost effective method to go fast...

its handy for launches, but outside of a launch, youd be much slower than a stock 350Z... atleast untill you put the SC on it, and then still, much slower than a RWD S/C Z.

itd suck pretty bad to get caught on a 5mph roll where the almighty AWD cant help and get schooled by a Z straight off the lot when your car is twice as expensive.

He isnt dreaming. He isnt saying "gee i want to do this it would be cool" He's saying "im 18 and have never worked in my life. and for x-mas my mommmy and daddy are going to give me $30k to waste" He needs to get a clue. Hes either:

a) a spoiled little kid that has ZERO regard for money
b) is a lieing little shlt
c) or a crack head
