In the third picture in the first post, it looks like the brake hose is the only thing holding the hub and brake assembly from falling over, and the hose looks pretty tight. The service manual and good shop practice says not to pull hard on the brake hoses. They say to use a wire to hold the caliper so it won't hang on the hose.

Considering all the havoc that went on in that area, I'd replace the hose to be on the safe side.
