I mean come on, NOT EVERYONE that drives a Z is an idiot, but it seems that most of the people that keep sh*tting on others about their cars in this thread kinda proves it. You guys act like owning a Z is the biggest achievement in life. Wow, try getting a secure job, a house ...handle a family and be able to afford it at the same time. Borrowing isn't owning.

I know I said i wasn't goint to post in this thread again, but it came up in my search for "jic exhaust" lol go figure that.....any way, i can sum this whole thread up in about a short paragraph here. What this all boils down to is a thread made up by a bunch of fu***ng old prunes who can't believe that their highest attempt to own an exclusive sports car can be attained by a kid in his teenage years. Not only is he no doubt coming to take your position at your job, he can still get an erection long enough to serve your wife and/or daughter. LOL if u want to have a sports car with exclusivity, go get a damn M3, SL500, Z06, etc. etc. Until that happens, just stfu about it, go take a damn viagra pill, and live life! sheesh.

i have a 96 TT 5-sp. My car is posted on craigslist right now for sale. I am also a member of 300zxclub.com, with the same ID, 16withatt. My Z is cobalt green metallic w/ the tan interior. So far, I have just installed the JWT ECU, pop-charger, an EBC set @ 13 psi, and Z1 DP/TP.

i bought the car when I was 16. yes. i worked the summer of 06 with my uncles, who own a trucking business. I helped them load the trucks, and got paid $80 a day to do so. In october of 06, after i had saved every penny of working, i put that money down on the 300zx. Sure I had the car in my mom's name at first, but when i turned 18, i had the car turned over in my name. To make the payments on the car, i worked full-time at a gas station making only $7 an hour. With a $250 car payment, and a $350 insurance payment, thats all i could afford, but i was happy. I am 18 now, I turn 19 June 16th, and the car is for sale. It's my time to move up in the world any my choices are an Evo, Sti, or another Z. I'll take the Z based off style alone, but that's cool. So yes sir, I did own a Z @ the age of 16 on my own, with no assistance other than my mom financing it at first. You smell no ******** around me sir, only truth.

Just trying to share the knowledge I've learned the hard way, over the past 18 years, with my fellow Z owners! :-) I realize you guys are going to give me hell until you realize the type of person I am, and of my undying passion for cars. I started playing Gran Turismo when I was VERY young, and it was all down-hill from there lol. My whole family owns some type of a hot rod, so i know how to handle high horsepower cars. I know a 350z can't compare power wise to my Z now, which is at 362 hp @ 13 psi on 93 octane, dyno'd on a dynojet. But to be honest, the styling of the 300zx is limited and i like to be able to modify cars to suit my own personal taste. I like to be different, but modest in my aesthetic customization, and it's impossible to have the 2 on a 300zx. Plus there's all the squeaks and rattles that develop over time, etc. etc. I love the car to death but I just feel like it's time for an upgrade to something newer.
