This pertains to the "17 year olds getting Z's" debate...
if a 17yr old gets a Z, whether it be his own money or parents; good for him/her..a lot of young kids nowadays have nice cars...whatever makes them happy.
as long as theyre responsible and know the rules of the road, wouldnt even bother saying anything..and if theyre not, they'll eventually learn their lesson the hard way
bashing and flaming one would not necessarily make anything better, rather we should give them advice since we are "experienced drivers due to age"
sometimes, people just want to be funny behind the computer
if jealousy is the cause for the bashing/flaming, u should have worked harder when you were at that age

i stil dont get why older people get mad when a young kid recieves a car of this pedigree (im 19 and own a 2006 nissan 350z roadster)...yeah ther are a lot of immature and bad drivers that are young kids out ther that wreck nice cars and dont respect the rules of the road...but if you were in our situation where your parents offered to buy you a 350z or something else nice...would you turn them down and say no mom im not mature or old own to have this car? the only reason i got mine is because my grandparents said if i did good in my first smemester of college they would get me a new car (previous car 2002 cadillac eldorado) that semester i got 4 As and 1 C and thats why i own a Z now...

2000-2002 - 1988 Honda Accord (first car)
2002-2005 - 1990 Nissan 240sx White Hatch (turned it into a Sileighty...rear end was totalled by a Cadillac that wanted to butt hump me in traffic)
2005-2005 - 1989 Nissan 240sx Black Sileighty (major bad luck car...stripped the car down and sold the chassis)
2005-2006 - 1992 Nissan 240sx Hatch (was totalled by a black sentra when i was pulling into work one morning...it was my wake up call to change my life...near fatal accident)
2006-Current - 1993 Nissan 240sx Coupe (OneVia love wewt!!! lives in my garage at home...i take it out like once a week...its my track/show car)
2006-Current - 1987 Nissan Hardbody (base base base model..no powersteering and no door handles SUCKS...at least the AC works)
contemplating selling my current 240 for 12-13 grand and my truck for a grand and picking up a 350z for my daily project car...but i think im gonna wait another year or so and wait for nissan to deliver more details on the 2010 200sx/Silvia
