....I pay includes $350 rent a month, which I live in the basement apartment of a 3 year old house, $326 for the car payment, $165 for insurance, $80 for my cell, and about $120 for gas.
... But I make between $2500 and $2700 a month so I wouldn't say that I'm living a lame life ...

I say that pretty much defines a lame life.
I think you forgot something:
- Utilities / Cable
- Life insurance / Health insurance / Home insurance
- Retirement savings & investments (Roth IRA/ 401k)
- Emergency savings
- Groceries (no, not McDonald's 7 days a week --$100? ...right)
- Clothing allowance / dry cleaning
- Auto maintenance
- Entertainment
That's just a start...
When you decide to move out of Mom's basement and join the REAL world get back to me...

My employer pays for a pretty bada$$ heath insurance plan.
I haven't really looked into a 401K right at the moment cause the one at my work sucks, and the economy sucks.
All the money I don't spend goes into savings (at least $50-100 a week)
I DO eat out almost every night (which isn't that big of deal when you're 19- gotta love the fast metabolism )
I do my own wash, seeing as the basement I'm renting has a washer and dryer, and I have PLENTY of clothes.
I pay for auto maintenance out of pocket, or for anything major, I have lots of savings.
And I live on my own, so I find plenty of entertainment around any time I'm bored and not working.
Any other questions in the interrogation?

And your point is...? The Z is mine, so I pay for the insurance, my mom pays for hers. I don't see any drawback to this when it saves me money

Hahaha I like that I don't reply for a day, and the thread is filled with all kinds of good insults It's all good though!
And the $1000 a month that I pay includes $350 rent a month, which I live in the basement apartment of a 3 year old house, $326 for the car payment, $165 for insurance, $80 for my cell, and about $120 for gas.
My bad, that adds up to $1,041 not $1,000. And I guess that doesn't include about $100 for food. But I make between $2500 and $2700 a month so I wouldn't say that I'm living a lame life

Hahaha empty insult there, jekl. I may not be making millions, but it doesn't bother me to be able to live comfortably while going through college You can chill in your mulit-million dollar house that I'm assuming you have..?

I find it very difficult to believe you only pay $165 or w/e at 19. I'm 21, have never had an accident, and all possible discounts are applied to my account, and my monthly payment is still over $200... and that's not even on a Z.
Sounds a little far fetched.

Well like I said, I'm on my moms policy. If I was on my own, I'd be paying over $300 a month.
