Lol!

1st car 19 years old.

91 miata - 1500

Then

94 saturn - 700

Then

03 240sx - 1100

Now

350Z and that's after being on good behavior with the wife. If not, it would have been a flippin sedan.

The only car that I ever had for free was my first POS miata from my mom and that's only cause I had to take like 3 different buses to get to college and back so she felt bad.

For the record, I bought my own cars without the help of my parents and have the titles to both my 350z and G35. I give respect to anyone who is doing everything on their own without the help of mommy and daddy. Here is a list of my cars:

'93 Honda Civic HB
'94 Honda Accord 4dr
'01 Nissan Maxima SE
'03 Nissan 350z base (own)
'04 Infiniti G35 coupe (own)

Well just to go on record...im almost 20 years old and in college. When I was born, I had a fever that my doctors were very concerned about, and gave me emergency antibiotics to help. Due to this, I lost my hearing, and my parents had sued the hospital and the state (for the medical mumo jumbo, idk exactly). Having said, my parents got a large sum of money and they felt that most of it should go to me to get me through life on top of paying for college and upon graduation, helping to buy my first apartment or townhouse, jsut to start out. I am not a greedy person, I just got benefits for something I lost, which was my hearing. I cope with a hearing aid, though. Having also said that, I will tell you what cars I have had. Before I list, I want to just say that I understand people will be shocked or mad at me...but for me, it makes up for my loss. Im probably the most responsible 19 year old guy anyone could know, I get good grades, I work hard, I take care of my family, and donate when necessary. I have been misjuged my whole life based on my disability, so I tend to reward myself to make me feel better..
2006 Acura RSX Type S- hydroplaned on the way to get new tires(what a bad omen) Rained 4 inches that day doing 40 in a 35.
2006 Ford Mustang GT- Sold with 12,000 miles after having numerous problems with throttle body and leaking rear axle. ford...meh
2007 BMW 335i Coupe 6 Speed with Sport Package---AWESOME CAR..sold it to a friend who had more appreciation for it than I did.
2008 Nissan Maxima-Current daily driver, college car, great, great car, solid build, smooth ride, awesome CVT tranny.
2008 Nismo 350z-Possibly the best car Ive ever seen...plan on keeping this car until it sells for 100k at an auction(i can only dream)

I love lists, here goes!

1990 Jeep Wrangler
1995 Suzuki Vitara (crap car, had to replace my Jeep that was leaking all over)
1992 Mazda MX-3 (modified to hell, made a reliable 240whp when sold in 2001)
1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited
2002 Porsche Boxster S (amazing car, by far the best I'd owned till then - totalled by a drunken woman, 20 meters from my garage door)
2006 Nissan 350Z (highly concerned when I bought it, wasn't sure I wanted a Nissan after a Porsche - doubts all gone now after 3 months, I absolutely love my Z!)

short list

2004 350z performance
(but im paying for it and used my money for the down payment)

My sisters list is a bit longer than mine. shes 23

1. 2001 Lexus RX300 (brand new,her first car, costed well over 30k...which she had no involvement in paying for it. and i have never seen a car in such bad condition after only two years of use and she had done about 60,000 miles in those two years and been in 7or 8 accidents.oh and we had to get a new engine put in.dont know what she did to it but she didnt deserve it in the first place or any of her other cars)

2. 2003 bmw 325i (once again, our parents paid for it, costed about 20k. Her boyfriend at the time, who was always on meth, totaled it 6 months later)

3. 2004 bmw 325i (still had no part in paying for it, she totalled it about 8 months later)

4. 2002 audi s4 (claims she paid for it but she just used the insurance money from her latest car crash, and that money originally came from the first bmw she had, which she didnt pay for)

5. now shes trading in the audi, its having a ridiculous amount of engine problems, for another lexus.

out of all these,we still have the lexus.Im surprised its still going like the day we bought it,except the transmissions starting to go, especially after the abuse it took.

i was suppose to get the lexus but ive been extremely obsessed with cars for as long as i can remember. My parents made me start saving all my money when i was 4 years old. So after saving any money i ever had my whole life, i went to the dealershipand used about a 1/4 of the money as a down payment. spent about $3500 on some other stuff this summer and now im saving again to buy a place to live when im in college.

i know everyone hates the kids who got a car handed to them,i do to,and i know i hated it when my parents said they werent really gonna help me pay for a car after they had bought my irresponsible, immature sister numerous cars. But sometimes other kids learn from the mistakes of the spoiled kids.

I take very good care of my car and im very cautious and dive safely in it.Mainly because i dont want to end up like my sister. But i hate it when other people who dont even know me give me s**t for having a nice car. They dont know how i got it or what my life has been like or wether or not i deserve it.

I guess im tryin to say, next time you see a kid in a nice car ,and its not some ridiculously expensive car that they clearly couldnt have paid for, think about what they have done or been through to get that car at a younger age than you were capable of before you start giving them s**t about it.
Just because someone achieves something before you doesn't mean that they don't deserve it

1. 96 Honda civic, got flooded out
2. 03 Honda civic EX, traded in for the Z
3. 06 350z, totalled, got ran off the road into a guard rail.
4. 03 350z, Insurance is great!

I'm not seventeen but am still a youngster at only 20 years of age. I dont see what age has to do with anything as long as the person cares for the car and knows how to drive it properly. When it comes down to it, its the car i care about. Not whose driving it.
