I just got my 2003 Z and i turned 17 this year. my first car was a 2004 e320 when i was 16 =D. parents paid for both lol

 

In 1997 at 17- 1995 Dodge Intrepid - totaled in 2000
1998 Mitsubishi Mirage LS mt - crapped out in 2005
2005 mitsubishi Eclipse GS mt - gave to Carmax in 2008
2007 nissan 350z base (she's still less than 20k old; I love this car...)

I've never totaled a car, thank god. I did rear end someone last December though. Wasn't paying attention, my fault. It's weird how much more careful of a driver I've gotten to be since the Z. I'll sit at an intersection forever before I'll pull out for fear that I'll hit someone/someone will hit me.

It's actually kind of sad that it took a nice car that I don't want to get messed up to make me a safer driver.

On a lighter note, I have your LulZ for the day Hraes. We just had our typical upstate SC downpour that comes out of nowhere. Lasted about three minutes, and now the sun's shining brighter than ever. My car is in the garage, with the top down. The garage door was up. Guess which direction the rain was blowing?
