$26K? Maybe if it was brand new, but they are buying 7 year old used cars. Now however, if i see a young kid driving a 370Z, then we have a problem in terms of the purchasing more than on a 350. But the problem to me part of what a lot of others are saying. They basically are working just for a car. But my main concern is their ability to control themselves behind the wheel of a pretty powerful RWD sports car for a 17 year old to be driving.

The title of the thread is what bothers me the most. Should 17 year olds getting z's even be a matter to debate?

I would have killed myself in a Z if I was 17, nearly did so on multiple occasions in a stock mazda 3...and then on more occasions in a turbocharged passat.
