So which is it? Do you want our respect or do you not give a **** because you sound kind of butt hurt.

Trust me, I have no desire to go back to high school and if you think we envy some car poor kid that is probably still a virgin, you are sadly mistaken. Your statement about using a Z to get a boner is rather suspect. Do you whack your little weenie looking at pics of your car?

Lol...

I'm 22, loser.

You're probably f*cking their sons... not their daughters.

This is true. No argument there. But when i was 18, i got kicked out. So buying cars with all the necessities of life not being paid for aint easy. Especially the luck i have with cars breaking. But i guess thats the american dream, work hard for what you want. Picking up extra shifts and going to school was what worked for me.

When I was 18, actually 17 and 10 months, I joined the Navy. never took a thing from my folks from that day forward. In fact, didn't get much the previous couple of years. No complaints though - same things worked for me. Many kids today just don't seem to get it.

I hate people that get all defensive and immature, they are the reason so many people "hate" the younger kids who have Z's. The truth is the 350z's re-sale value isn't to high anymore. This means that younger kids are going to get them. It doesn't bother me because I am 17, worked alot got my car and thats it? Personally I'm on this forum to learn! I'm not gonna troll or flame people I just like to read what you veterans have posted and make plans for the future of my car! So I'd like to just say thank you for all the advice and tips any of you have posted I'm sure they will eventually if not allready have helped me!

I respect you sir. Anyone who will take the valience to protect our country is quite admirable. My father was the same way, 17 and joined the Marine Corp. And i do agree with your statement, most kids dont get it. im young as well, but i do respect your thoughts.

And thank you brandon7219 for getting us back on topic

Too bad a lot of you had a drunk dad that beat you with a toaster. =/ What the argument should be is "Cocky arrogant 17 year old boy racers who think theyre more BA than anyone with Zs". just my .02

Default Not a teen but still young

I'm 22 now, and have owned my Z for 4months now. I joined the Coast Guard when i was 18 due to the lack of job options and the fact I hate relying on other people to support me. Minimal financial support to a 17yr old in their eyes they have no clue how much their "minimal" really adds up to be in total. Just staying with your parents is easy $10,000 just in rent/utilities so please enlighten us on how "you" afford all this with your supposed minimal support. You pay insurance and gas congratulations, that's what 4-5k a year, big baller there. I don't believe the point of this thread was to flame teens that own Z's but to find out if others think the same as they do and if not what they might be missing. You want respect act a little more mature when responding to a thread and avoid f* this and that terminology, it really undermines your intelligence.

That's nice that your parents are splitting the price with you and you are working to pay the difference, that's respectable but then you turn around and throw out insults like "having a drunk dad that beat you with a toaster", to you this may be hilarous but to others this is a reality and this thread has nothing to do with ones relationship with their parents. But yes the thread title could be adjusted slightly to focus more on the cocky teens rather then all teens.

I don't see anything that you have to be cocky and arrogant about. If you are basing how awesome parents are on how much they give to their kids, your parent really aren't so awesome. I bet your dad was too busy teaching you ball handling skills to have had time to hit you with a toaster anyways.
