This pertains to the "17 year olds getting Z's" debate...
I'm not saying anything is wrong with the rest of that information, just wanted to share my sort of unrelated opinion on how exactly "bad" drivers are classified when talking about citations. The rest of the info on there is fine (a little old however) and not what I would have guessed. Personally I don't think 16-25 should ever be in one group. Too big of an experience gap from teens just learning to drive and early 20's with several years and several thousand miles under their belt.
Speaking only for myself, and having 20 and 23 year old daughters, I just don't get why a 16 year old would need a car like a 350. 16 year olds need transportation, nothing more. If it is nice comfortable transportation, better still. If it is 300 HP not so much. The Z ain't no Porsche or whatever, but it is still pretty much a high performance sports car, which doesn't mix well with rookie drivers. IMHO only of course - it's your kid.

You’re an awesome dad Phil1361 and I’m sure given your guidance, your young daughter will become a superb driver. When I was 16 my dad bought me a little sports car and look how good I turned out!

Flick, I see that the mantle of grumpy old man is slowly washing over you. Today’s teen is not the same shiftless drone of your youth. By the age of 14 most of the current crop have created about half a dozen lucrative iphone apps, by age 16 they will have built and sold two successful tech companies. Burdened under the weight of awesomeness and savvy most choose to retire at the grand old age of 19. Those who decide to seek further adventures in the workplace will become your new boss.
However, all this accumulation of wealth has not blunted today’s teen’s fine sense of value. The 350Z is and always will be a car with class far beyond its pay grade. Taking advantage of the now aging car’s lower price, 19 year olds are each buying a few. Parking them around the perimeter of the estate, unlocked and with the keys in them, provides something with perceived value for the desperate, unemployed gen x and y’s to steal. This keeps the Lamborghinis and Ferraris, resting in the inner sanctum, save and secure.
I joke, hang on to your Z it will keep you eternally young at heart.
