This pertains to the "17 year olds getting Z's" debate...
i hate how people always give teenagers a bad rep. im 17 about to be 18 and i got my car my junior year in highschool. im a senior now. before i got my car i went to performance driving school. im responsible and dont try to show it off when the kid in the mustang drives up next to me and revs. i get good grades, and work to pay for it(not all of it but most, i dont want to work to much and let my grades slip). i have paid for every mod on my car. i dont go and get on it everywhere i go. sure, i have enjoyed my car but i want to know one person on this forum who hasent. i wash it once a week, and keep up with the matience.
im honestly tired of all the steriotypes about teenagers who cant be responsible enoughf to have a nice sports car. i know that alot of them are true because alot of them are true when daddy buys them a 300 hp car and they lose traction for the first time and wreck it. but many of people my age are responsible enoghf for nice cars.

no i know many of my friends who are responsible enoughf to have nice sports cars. one has a S2000, another a firehawk, and another a M3. but ther are kids in my school who i know if they had any of our cars they would be wrecked within a week. waht im just saying is there are some kids who are responsible enoughf and there are some kids who arent. get to know someone first, which is kinda hard on a forum but listen to what they have to say before you think, " o its just some stupid teenager whos daddy bought them another 350z."
and face it with the z's prices going down as they are, were going to see alot of teenagers getting z's. its a fact, and were going to see many threads saying i got my z!! and then many threads later saying i oversteere and hit a tree, or oops i wrecked my z.

Yes I got rid of the 335i. Im not gonna lie, it was a great car, and it was a color that was rarely seen on them (montego blue metallic). It felt good, but i got weird looks from the older crowd and the car seemed to overheat/overpower the stock oil cooler that came equipped with the car and have found myself approaching the limit of the oil temp gauge(on track days), and even on a hot dry summer day, it still gets VERY hot...burns my oil and a trip to bmw is expensive sometimes. I like the nismo because its just as quick as the 335i, looks badass, and i think it gets a lot more attention and more praise than the beamer did.
Hmmm interesting question, I'm always shocked at how many cars some guys have had in their lives.
1965 Mustang (got at 16 when it was a classic, not that old, lol)
1991 Jeep Comanche
2003 Nissan 350Z
Don't know if I would know how to act if i had more cars than that, but they were all really great cars and I do wish I had all 3 right now. Now that I have a company car for my own, my list will remain short as my Z will be parked a whole lot and I'm not replacing it for another car payment.
