Cars I've had since I was 16
1968 Pontiac GTO (Hand me down from dad on 16th B-Day. Really miss it.)
1980 Plymouth Champ (Another hand me down. POS)
1984 Toyota Corolla (1st used car I purchased on my own. Got me around.)
1987 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible (Yeah, it's a chic mobile. Bought it cheap from some girl that just graduated and wanted to get rid of it.)
1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD (1st new car I purchased with parental help. I was reckless with it. Young and stupid.)
1994 Toyota Camry (1st official new purchase. Bought just after graduation. Traded for next car.)
1998 Toyota 4Runner (Leased. Bought and sold later.)
2000 Nissan Maxima (Leased. Returned)
2002 Volvo S60 (Bought at end of lease and still have.)
2003 Nissan 350Z (Leased, on the fence if I want to purchase or return next year.)
2005 ? (Currently, thinking about leasing another sedan or small SUV)

1: 20 years of age, 1996 Red Saturn SC1, used cost me 10k with 39k miles
2: 25 Years of age, 2005 350z Enthuisast AT, first new car.
Driveing my saturn made me hate 100hp cars, look its a hill, time for 60mph to go to 45mph even if foot is pressing the pedal to the metal. And thats just with me in the car, dont wanna talk about freinds in it.

16 - '97 Civic
20 - Was rear ended and the civic totalled, they gave me $6000, which was more than I paid for it 4 years prior. Used the money on the down payment (plus a bonus from work) to get a new '04 SS Z
Paid for Civic all on my own
Paying for Z on my own

Lets see if I can remember that far back:
1961 Olds Starfire paid $200, but could not afford tires. Had to sell it.
1964 Triumph Spitfire, paid $500
1964 Olds F-85, I know I did not pay much, can't remember how much
1961 Plymouth Belvidere - absolutely not a piece of chrome except for bumpers and door handles. looked like an unmarked NYC police car. Traffic always slowed down around me.
The above were all in my highschool days. All the above were paid for with my various job cash.
Off to college, luckily college was free, so I could buy a 1966 Mustang convertible
with my student loan money. My first new car
1966 Mustang convertible 271hp Pony Package. Bought used with money I got back after totalling my new Mustang convertible
1969-1970 240z--sold it when we had a baby--bought 1970 Mustang (family car)
1970 Mustang Mach 1, 351 cleveland engine with ram air/shaker hood
1973 Olds Delta 88 Royale Convertible, 455 4bbl
1973 Chevy Vega, wagon. Burned more oil than gas
1979 Mazda 626
1982 280zx
1984 Dodge Dayton Turbo (what a piece of crap)
1963 Triumph TR 4
1989 Mazda 626
1990 Dodge Colt Vista (minnier than a mini van) but was a 7 seater
1964 MB 230sl --still drive it
1991 300zxTT
1966 Mustang convertible --still drive this one too
1993 Pontiac Sunbird Conv.
1993 300zx convertible--still have this one
1992 Miata
1996 Subaru outback wagon--still got it,my kayak/bike mobile
1999 Sebring convertible-family car, probably going to replace it with another Sebring
2004 350Z convertible--giving some thought to replacing this with a Lotus for the track/street
1991 Miata (track car)
looking for a C4 Vette to replace the Miata at the end of this racing season
I think that covers all of them

When I turned 16 my folks gave me permission to get a job, get insurance, buy a car - that they appoved of, pay for the gas, and they allowed me to park it on the street outside their house.
1973 Plymouth Baracuda
1988 Plymouth Colt
1998 Honda CRV
2005 Nissan 35th
I still got the last two - the CRV is the daily driver.

1981 Honda CB200 Twinstar
1985 Chevy Sprint
1986.5 Nissan Hardbody Pickup (traded Sprint)
1987 Dodge Daytona (wife's car)
1993 Nissan Altima (traded Daytona)
1995 Nissan Pathfinder (traded Pickup)
2000 Dodge Intrepid (traded Altima)
2001 Nissan Pathfinder (traded Pathfinder)
2002 Nissan SE-R SpecV (traded Intrepid)
2005 Nissan 350Z Track (traded SpecV)
I had a motorcycle that my parents let me use until I bought my Twinstar. I still have that '81 Twinstar, and that was the only vehicle that I had when I was dating my fiancee (now wife). We rode that year-round, including in the snow and ice of eastern Washington (coax cable makes great "chains" for a motorcycle!), until we got the Sprint. I didn't even have a car until I was engaged, and we got a car only because the motorcycle couldn't really fit all of our stuff for our honeymoon.
We had only one car for the first two years of our marriage, when we finally had to get my wife a car in 1987 because she was commuting the opposite direction.
