This occurred overseas in Malaysia. My friend was attending a wedding at a local resort. The thing is that a lot of these resorts are surrounded by poor villages and most of these people don't work, are illegally in the country, and they hate anyone who has money. There have been kidnappings for ransom in the past.
Over there people are either rich or poor. There is NO middle class. Also in Malaysia it seems like all the Chinese people have the money and the locals do not. It's not uncommon to see a mansion and then there's a ghetto hut a few feet away from it. Huge disparity... however people should still not hate.
He just told me that they're going do a full detail on the car. Luckily they used cheap spray paint.
The spray paint might come off without too many issues. I'd check Google for "remove grafitti" or something similar. One of the orange oil based cleaners might work, or maybe some lacquer thinner. Just try on an inconspicuous area first, and the insurance company may know of a good method, too. I'd rather do that than try to color-match the paint on a pearl-white car.
