I went side by side with my friend and his STi from a ~20mph roll all the way up to ~130mph. My one and only day at the track saw another guy with a Z pulling a 14.1 and IIRC someone with a SRT-4 pulled a 14.5 best. Haven't raced an Evo yet. But don't worry, all these cars are so close to one another that the driver could make a huge difference, especially on launch. But that's what makes it fun.

I don't think it matters that much...on avg the z will be 1-2 car length ahead. Why was the s2000 first on the list? I would place the sti or evo way ahead of the s2000.

Why would you only want to race cars you know you can beat?

Err... S2000 should be close. Yeah, WRX STI and Evo8 will smoke us. As for Neons, the SRT-4 is sorta a threat, the rest we'd toast!

Other cars to avoid racing:
- Mustang SVT Cobra
- Mercedes SL65 AMG
- BMW M3 and M5
- Mercedes S600
- Ferrari Enzo (or any current one for that matter)
- Dodge Viper

the z only runs a high 13. you got a lot of cars to be careful of. ill add my own to the list.

Camaro Z28 and SS (low 13s stock, 12s with a couple mods)
RX-7 (high 13s stock, but most are modded, mid 12s easy)

(S2000) I think 1-2 car length is close. Miss a shift and you lose...but on avg you should be ahead (personal experience). Evo...all i can say is...i didnt even want to look at the guy after getting humiliated....but they were kool.

Race whatever you want. If there is money on the line avoid:

LS1's (C5, T/A, Camaro)
Mustang Mach 1's and Cobras
BMW M3 and M5
Vipers
Most Benz AMG's
TT 3/S
Supras
Lotus Espirit TT
Turbo RX-7's
The list goes on and on...

Watch out for that new Subaru station Wagon and the new Volvo S60 type R. They both get to 60 as fast as we do.

1- my Supra
2- my S2000 (not yet)

3- any AMG Benz
4- M3,M5
5- Jaguar "R" Series
6- STi
7- Evo (maybe)

i cant really think of many more. now, just keep in mind that there are some heavily modded civics running around that would eat the Z any day. those are what i like to call "embaressment cars".

I'd stay away from a Audi S4. New model and a Stage II + old style.

Yet, don't forget about the sleeper of them all....

I raced an STi once. There was enough traffic that he had to get behind me...thank goodness, his car seemed fast as hell. Nice guy...good times.

The S2000 isn't really hard to beat. The Evo7 and STI are going to give you a very good run for your money.

You are able, but it's going to be hard, to beat the BMW M3 E36 and BMW M3 E46 Cabrio (because it's quite heavy unlike the Coupe - against which you wouldn't have that much of a chance).

The RX8 shouldn't be any issue...

Skyline GTR (I won't even try), SUPRA TT (I won't try this either), RX7, EVO (especially not on the Canyon), STI (same as EVO). And if all of the aboves have turbo upgrade, then don't even think about it. even if I have Force Induction kit on my car.
