ALso stay away from sleepers like the BMW 760LI and the Benz S600. The S600 will especially hand you your lunch with an insane sub 5 sec. 0-60 and 12.5 sec 1/4 mile @115mph!

 

I was racing against an 1994 Rx-7 (Turbo). He was very close but finally around 110 he was about a car and a half behind me. Made me sweat a little bit!!!!!!

 

Raced a 2003 Porsche 911 GT2..We were loading onto the freeway, circle onramp, and I was right on his bumper as we both hugged the inside lane of the onramp, when we hit the straight away, he just "exploded" to 20 yards ahead of me, I was in 2nd gear and ran it up to 4th, but he was gone...found out the 911 GT 2 is turbo charged with 456 horspower, 180K sticker price and a 0-60 in 4.1 seconds...I'll stick with the my Z....did catch him checking out the Z prior to our racing....

 

Yeah, the S600 has 493 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque! It also costs $120K.

I got a chance to drive one at the Mercedes Tech Drive at CES in January. Too bad the parking lot course they rented out isn't conducive to speed... Couldn't get it going that fast even though I floored it from a standstill... you can't go for long before you have to slowdown to turn.

Man.. at a dragstrip, I'm sure it'd SMOKE an unmodded Z.
