39+, clean driving record near Sacramento, multi-car discount and full coverage:

Bodily Injury: 300K/300K
Property Damage: 100K
Medical Payments: 1K
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist 100K/300K
Comprehensive: 100 Ded.
Collision: 500 Ded.
Stated miles driven per year: 7000

$877 per year.

You'll find a lot of people will only look at the premium, but each state has varying laws about what the minum coverage amounts are and that will also impact the premium you're charged as well as the projected miles per year driven will change the premium too. I don't set many of my coverages to the minimum so that is why I listed them.

uhhhh.... 24 years old, about 4 accidents (only 1 was my fault!), and I'd say about 3 tickets (that they're aware of). And my payments are about 4000/year.

Boy i can't wait until I turn 25.

Enthuz, watch your a$$. All a neighbor has to do is call you in if you **** them off and you can expect to get popped for out of state licensein another state. You have something like 30-60 days after taking residence (includes apartments) to get registered. I got popped for having an out of state driver's license from CA in TX. Oh yeah, I had lived here for 14 months and the cop was in a bad mood. Doesn't help when the states are losing alot of money.

Insurance $277 every 6 mos. 36, 1 accident hit and run12 months ago and I caught his a$$ 2 weeks later after playing Columbo and paying off a neighbor, $300,000 liability, etc. Progressive Insurance and not a complaint from me.

PS My Z is less then my wife's 3 year old Tahoe 4x2.

Hey cedusett, man I'm crying for you. $4K/yr is really sad.

Ezchief - very good rate, just got quote from Allstate (they also have my wife 03 Tahoe) and its $485 every six mo. And I'm 54, good record and live in the sticks (Hill Country). Gotta go chk out that Progressive.

WOW. All i can say is WOW.

I live in new york. i'm 21 i have no accidents, and i have 2 tickets. one of them gets cleared off this month. The other gets cleared next feb. I havent gotten a ticket in over 2 years. I kid you not. I pay 7grand a year, full coverage. I'm getting raped, but i love the car. I figured i 'll keep it for 2 years, then sell,

I think i need to move

GEICO ~$1600/yr.

I'm 22 and drive 30 miles one way to Downtown Dallas every day. Just skimmed the post but make sure you tell them any safety/security features it has. VIN etching knocked off a little bit. Also, take defensive driving and any other classes offered. This saves me about $40/mo.

This guy is full of bs. There's no way you save $40/mo. for that. Oh wait, that was me. To correct myself, it's actually about $20/mo...I was tired and did the math wrong. Anyways, still worth it IMO.
