Default Front license plate and other options

Searched the forum to see if others that live in states that require two license plates had found a solution. Some varied opinions, one thread pointed to a web site that sells license brackets for the Z, but site had no cost or other information. Someone mentioned two sided tape that was strong enough to hold plate, but they gave no info on tape name or where to purchase. Any others have info on how to get this done without drilling holes. Second question: If you could pick an option not currently on the 350 Z that would be an added convenience, what would it be? My 300 allowed radio control on the steering wheel, really liked that feature. Thanks for your reply

Ive placed an order with StrictlyZ Parts for a front license plate adapter that screws into the front tow hook. It costs $49.99 + Tax,S&H (total for me: 58.89).

They have not charged my CC yet, so it has not shipped.

This seems to be the way to go. My dealer actually told me about those guys and how to do it since they wouldn't punch the holes in the bumper themselves (thankfully). I think I'm just gonna let it ride with no front plate and put it on when I have to.

"But officer, there is no place to mount a plate up front, I was never given a bracket of any type and there are no holes regardless!"

Can we put it on the passenger sunshade?? I havent found a TX law yet that specifies the front license plate location...it just says that there needs to be a front license plate. ?????

Use toggle bolts and a universal license plate bracket, per https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....e+plate+toggle (and thanks for zcar70/ZCAR NUT for posting this idea!). Total cost: well under $10.

After reading that post, and a few others which were similar, I was a bit sceptical about whether the universal bracket would be in contact with the bumper, but it is not. Then again, I had previously added the door edge trim on the slats of the grill, which helps to give additional clearance for the bracket.

Take a look at my avatar, mounted bracket with cable ties (found at any hardware store, like Lowes), the mounting bracket can be found at link below:
