I wonder how the car will handle if you remove that cross brace between the rear shock towers?? Has anyone looked to see how easy it is to remove??

Curious minds just have to know..

the struts actually go waaaay up into that brace and the nut for the strut is located at the top of the brace ajacent to the aluminum finish.

You would have to cut the struts off too

I bet a pretty slick job would be to customize a slightly thinner more petite bar at the expense of some rigidity. Unless Nissan totally skimped on rigidity in other places because they relied on the strut bar. But then in that case youd call it the 240z!

I know, my 280z is "floppy" without the strut bar installed.

I belive the car will handle like a Caddy or Lincon. You will not be able to keep it between the ditches.
