So are you going for show, go, or stock?

I'm still undecided whether I want to spend all my money making it fast or to spend all my money on some nice 19 inch rims, a nice body kit and some suspension work.

It's a Roadster so I don't intend to take it to the track but once the warranty is up I'll probably put a turbo or supercharger on it, depending of course on the financial situation.

Default none of the above

I bought it to drive it. I figured I would decide on mods over time and on a case by case basis. Mostly it is my daily driver, but more power never hurts even on a daily driver.

Originally I had no mods planned, but I was open to the idea.

Now, at 1700 miles I have a Borla exhaust. I just sort of happened. I wanted a meaner sound and a little more juice.

I have also ordered some 18 inch rims.

Now that I have seen the bolt on superchargers in action I may get one when the warranty is up. But I may not. Who knows.

The only plans I have for sure are to keep it clean, drive it and enjoy it, and keep it a long time. I get attached to my cars once I get them setup the way I like em.

I'm with AndyB... I may or may not... getting a house is on the top o' my list, that's for sure (let's see how the rest fits in the budget).

I originally bought it to keep stock, but after being disappointed with the car's power, I had to modify it.

i bought mine with the intention to do some minor modding. however after i received my S2000, i have made an agreement to keep it completely stock and throw my cash into the honda.

read my quote below. that saying pretty much sums up my feelings for my 350z.

I plan to keep it stock except maybe a supercharger if it doesn't alter stock appearance. Being 51 I've lost my desire for wings, wheels, and such but must confess at one time I had the only '61
Corvair with a racing steering wheel.

well i definatly didnt buy it to go faster (or otherwise i would of bought a manual)...

I mainly want to keep it stock besides a few things.

Like the stereo. I change it all out (Besides the HU).

I will eventually do some external appearance mods (probably NISMO body kit W/O spoiler)

Maybe few internal appearance things here and there but besides that. STOCK.

For the next three years I am keeping it pretty much stock. I'm going to mod the suspension. Coilovers and swaybars. Maybe a camber kit and that's it. I'll also get a CAI for the hell of it since it's only a few hundred. Other than that I am going to mod the hell out of the stereo, add my own touch screen, and PC.

Once warranyt is up, I may go ahead and get a supercharger, headers, exhaust with high flow cats. I just hope in three years I have a much better paying job than I do now. Well, considering what I make now that shouldn't be hard. It also depends if I get married during that time as well.

I'm leaving mine stock. I bought it knowing what it is capable of and what it isn't capable of. If I wanted a turbo I would of bought a turbo powered car. The Z is a nice, fun and high revving NA. Don't expect much more

Turbo down the road? no. If i'm going to go with FI on a car, it is going to be worth my while (read: huge hp numbers). Besides aluminum blocks running 10.3 compr don't like big boost numbers

forgot to put why I bought it. Bought the car because I was getting tired of my other Z. The 350z was a spur of the moment decision for me

I bought mine thinking I'd make it fast. Right now, it's all for show though. So since I'm almost done with all the aesthetics, everything else will be performance or audio/entertainment. I've always had a need for speed.
Besides, nothing stock satisfies me. Even a 360 Modena had me thinking "Man, this thing needs a better sound system."

i bought it to enjoy the power of the car along with the option of dropping the top.

i dont think i will put too much into making it faster because there really is no where to go fast except for road courses or the drag strip, both of which i dont intend to do. it has enough power as it is. if anything, i would add a nismo exhaust. probably not even that though. i am doing visual mods right now. slowly as my funds and wife allow.

I read the my350.com posts thus i knew before I purchsed it I would buy a new stereo. In additon, i knew I wanted wheels, tires, and much more hp. I intentionally put aside over $10,000 for these items. I still have 10K alotted for my engine upgrades. I am just waiting for the right kit to come out with reliable hp and be carb legal. I will do everything to the engine at once be it SC, exhaust, cams etc so it will turn into a beast overnite.

I haven't bought a 350 yet.. I'm waiting till Spring.

Anyways, when I do get my 350 I will go for looks first. This might be the order in which I will upgrade the parts on the car:

1. Rims
2. Suspension
3. Stereo system
4. Exhaust system

If I do decide to go for performance in the future, then I'm definitely going to go forced induction

But I really don't think I'll be able to afford it, that's why I'm going strictly for looks.
