besides oil and oil filter changes, what are some common diy maintinence?

I find it handy if every 3000miles or so, you open up your air filter box and clean it out. youll find leaves in there. and also some stuck in the filter, pull it all out.

be SURE that no small bits fall on the other side of the filter tho when you put the filter back in, you dont want to let anything through.

keep an eye on oil levels occasionally, and other fluid levels(tho this shouldnt be a problem at all, just good ruitine to keep an eye on it when your under the hood or whatever)
