at the time, i thought i was paul walker in my shatty **** saturn going the car's top speed 105 all the way to my gfs house dodging cars wishing i had a wing and bov on my car, never considering the consequences... Now if i had a Z back then, it would FOR SURE be in a ditch smashed to bits.... It is true, stupid drivers think theyre great drivers.... I never even checked for polica before bookin it.....and i considered myself an effing wheelman.....
Now i dont even take off hard from a light unless ive dissected the whole 4 way intersection!!!

A 17y/o CAN be mature.......For their age..... Im 24 and still growing up...

Point being OP, and anyone who cares, tell the 17yo who doesnt drive manual that its a fast car and the fastest way to kill himself or others... or even the precious Z

and i agree, that every Z crashed makes ours more valuable, but im not lookin to sell so BE CAREFUL!!

Good God. How do you go from a 350z to a pick-up truck? That's a downgrade no matter how you look at it.

Trucks are practical and very useful at times, but I would have just bought a second vehicle. A 1k used truck for hauling crap like household appliances.

Just accepting that I'm NOT the best driver in the world was the best thing I did for myself..1 accident and it wasnt my Z!!!! 1 ticket in the Z but thanks to traffic school its NONE!!! Ive had 1 ticket in each of my 3 cars(related to speed anyway) so I'm good...knock on wood

As to taking care of the Z (my car 2003 Track Model Z - bought brand new), I believe I will give anybody competition on how well it's taking care of and I do have lots of second opinions on that one, such as the Nissan Delearship and the Car shop (ZCargarage.com), members on board, "ZONC" Z Owners of Northern California, which I am a p.o.c. for Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties, as I also set up the Annual Carmel Valley/Pebble Beach Runs. Here's just a little of what I mean: 3M Bra, Vortech S/C, JWT Cam, JWT Heavy Duty Street Clutch, NISMO thermstat, NISMO Headers, NISMO Catback Exhaust, Koyo Slim Radiator, oil cooler, and much more. 26 plus mpg on hwy, 19 plus in town driving, garage kept, complete maintenance records with Nissan and ZCargarge "San Jose, CA" Shop, car covered by cover designed for it and garage is carpeted deck. Much more, but the car even has the new car smell in it, and has never been in a car wash or any kind of freshener used in it. Detailed by hand, using a electric leaf blower to dry it and micro cloth being the only cloth to touch the paint and mequiar's wax the only wax used on it. But do keep up the good car and it will last a long time. I've had the 260Z and 280Z, and did the same with both of them. As a note I started with a 57 Chevy and 68 Camaro in college and I obeyed the speed limits, and drove safely without having a single ticket as a after thought. So I know that not all 17 year olds drive crazy, I as one never did. I think when I got my first Porsche was really the first time my right foot got lead into it, and I learned real quick on that one. That was the last time I ever got a ticket and I was 45 yrs old then, long past the wonderful younger years you have the privilege of enjoying. So enjoy your car, it's a great car.
Long Live the Z
ALL that and you still use meguiar's? After all that I expected to hear dodo juice, chemical guys, p21s or something on that level... check out some other options you can't buy at every corner autozone/pepboys.

did you bring the z back to stock before he bought it? man i really hope that kid takes care of your Z and learns to drive right.

Or else we might as well start a thread like "wrapped my z around a tree guess my age!?!"

Oh of course I brought it back to stock LoL, I wouldnt have got the value I got out of it with all the Internals. I sold the Exhaust, and the system already, still got some other stuff I am going to put up for sale in the marketplace/craigslist. I well be honest BoomerZ you've seen my truck on FB, I like it a lot. I don't consider it a downgrade nor do I even compare it to the Z. I just turned 23, I don't really like driving fast, I like carrying a bunch of stuff with me(i have 7 bowling *****) I golf, I shop way more than I should at Sears and Harbor Freight :/ It just wasnt practical for me. Especially this winter. I plan on buying either a 300zx or a 280Z in January to start building. I got a hell of a deal on a LS3 with a 6speed tranny I want to drop in it from Work. So look out come May it should be ready to go if everything goes well Plus ill have a truck for my boat and something to tow the Z to the nearest track 200 miles away since Gateway International closed......SO fail.

Actually, we have another thread for you to post this on. It's usually quite close to the top of the page.

oughta be a law against kids of that age gettin something like that... make them respect and earn it .... i know i am an old fart but my first car was a 67 mustand 6 cylinder that looked like someone taped 100.00 dollar bills on the car and ran it thru compton at midnight...
at the very least they should have graphics on the door that says sorry i am texting while scanning my ipod for the newest lady ga ga song and cruising the mall... but dont worry my daddys got good insurance
