Default sports car international

magazine that nobody gets, so I'll give the highpoints.

First the usual, nissan halo car sob story, heard it a thousand times.

Test car was a silverstine touring.

"...it's wheelbase, weight and width are close to the C5...But the vette feels every bit as heavy to drive as its curb weight, the Z feels much lighter and liveler than it has any right to be."

"The Z is as tossable and as controllable as a miata." It remains firmly planted through transitions that would have the vette swapping ends. This car is so light on it's front feet when pushed to the limit that you would swear you were driving a mid-engine car.

The most surprising part of the handling is the comfort factor of the ride. Nissan has managed to meld high-performance handling with near luxury-car glide.

Unsprung weight with the track is about the same as the touring because the brembos are considerably heavier than the stock.

They love the seats and wheel and instruments. the forward view was great compared to the tt, as was the interior room and comfort. "because of the well demarcated front fenders and driving position you can actually see where you are going, this is an unfarmiliar concept to the corvette and tt drivers"

I do not read this magazine a lot so I'm not sure if they fall over themselves with every car, but they really seemed to love the Z. They complain most about the rear view out. The strut bar reflection in the mirror, and the armored personnel carrier view.
