You are correct that he hasn't been on the forum since Dec 1 so it's possible he is out of touch right now, that could explain the delays.

Looking at his iTrader rating, he's obviously very active and has no negative feedback. I say give him some time to respond.

See and that was what I was looking at and while I was debating on it. Also, because I feel bad for sending him the wrong part in the first place. I leave to go out of country in next couple days and was wanting to get this taken care of before then. I figured he may have not got on here, but would at least check his emails.

So another week before I file be good or should I wait even longer? I hate filing disputes. I want to give everyone the benifit of the doubt.

Thanks for the response.
Chad

Yeah id give him the benefit of the doubt. You have 30 days to file a claim with Paypal. So its really up to you. And just keep those emails and pms as evidence to get your money back.

I would contact paypal and make them aware of it. I have always been told the earlier the better.

Still waiting on the build date from the rear I bought from you six months ago that you neglected to list was from an auto. No disputes filed here, I even gave you positive feedback. You were supposed to get the records from the salvage yard you got it from.
You never got back to me and ignored my PM's. I still need the build date so I can order the proper bearings.

I sent him the wrong part then refunded the money and sent him additional funds to send the part back to me and have yet to get that.

I guess this thread was about me and my negligence? Oh wait...Heres the real story.

Let me fill you guys on on what happened. And the following is all true facts, no BS.

The OP listed a pass side A pillar for sale which is what I needed obviously. I sent him payment for the piller less that two hours after he listed it. I notified him when I had sent the payment and all was good.

PM on 10/31/10 minutes after Payment:
I got payment thanks. Perhaps I should have put it up for more know what I do now HAHA jk. Glad I could help out. I will get it out tomorrow morning for you!

Thanks
Chad
Here is the Original thread:

https://my350z.com/forum/exterior/50...one-cheap.html

I then wait over a week to here about shipping/tracking and the OP said "the package was returned to him"

PM on 11/9/10:

I got the package returned to me today. It said mail undelieverable. Did you get any notices of anything at your house? This is the correct address correct>

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxx

Let me know..
At which point I confirmed the address with him and let him know that I did not recieve any letters of a missed package. Then on that same date (11/9/10) I had asked him for tracking and his response was:

I typically send things through Fed Ex since I have a business account with them, but this time I sent through USPS since I had to go down there anyway. I didnt put tracking on it, I will get it resent out again and this time with tracking. Sorry about the delay. This time I want make it delivery confirmation this time, so perhaps they will just leave it at the home this time.

Thanks
Chad
Right...delivery confirmation? So they leave it without signature? Nevermind, next...

No tracking was ever provided.

And then, after no response for over yet another week until he says on 11/17/10 after I ask him once again for tracking, he says:

Have you seriously not gotten it yet? WTF. What is your phone number Im going to send you a pic of the track slip and tracking number. I know usps held the package for two days here for some reason and I got notice that it go sent out.
Then another PM on 11/20/10:

Never got a reply to the last PM I sent you. ME:Right...because I work 12 hour shifts and don't have a job where I can sit and babysit a computer 24/7)I figured out what had happened though when I went in after your last message. I guess the package when I dropped off was oversized, so there was a ballon payment on there that they were waiting for. The contact number was imputed incorrectly or something. Do when I went in there I paid it to ship it. Anyway they told me it was suppose to be to you on the 26th.
8 More days pass by with no tracking, no a pillar, and no response until I finally tell him
Hi, still waiting on the pillar...
And his response on 11/28/10 is:

It should be there anytime. I just checked tracking again and it said it was suppose to be delievered on the 26th. Im thinking the holiday weekend had something to do with that. Here is the tracking info

03101230000157542446

Thats through USPS let me know asap when it gets there. Sorry it is taking so damn long. Typically stuff gets there super fast..

Thanks and Sorry
Chad
Took a month to get tracking...but still no a pillar

Here is where it gets good...

Finaly!

On 11/30/10 I recieve the package laying on my porche with no sig. confirm. or insurance...but whatever, I am so happy it finally came! I open the package to reaveal that the OP has sent me the wrong side A pillar After all that, this part is worthless to me now(not to mention in the time he took to get it to me, I passed up on an even better deal for another silverstone A pillar, thinking I had one coming)

At which point I responded:

Well good news bad news.....I finally got the a pillar in mint condition but....

You sent me the driver side pillar...I needed the pass side piller as listed in your thread title way back when...

this is useless to me...
His response:

****.. Are you serious.. IM sorry for all the hassle and now my screw up. Would you mind sending it back to me? I will refund you the money to you asap unless you have another suggestion lol. I feel lke a dick so sorry about that.
Then he has the nerve to relist it correctly while I'm holding it in my hands while I'm re-wraping it up and asks me to vouch on his new thread to verify that it is indeed mint condition so he has a better chance to sell it to someone else after he raised the price.

You have got to be kidding me...

Long story short, (I know too late for that now), we agree for him to give me a refund which we both felt is fair, and also to pay me the exact shipping charges to return it to him, also fair.

And I will be honest, It took me two weeks to ship it back to him due to the fact that I work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week and can never make it to the post office before they close. ( which I notified him of this anyway)

I do not have use of a computer very often due to my work schedual which explains why I am not on this forum 24/7. My feedback is perfect because I try my best to be an honest seller buyer.

I realized that this was a mistake and thats fine, but to consider filing a paypal dispute against me for taking half the time it took you to send me the part to send it back to you at my own expense and time?, and the wrong part at that? Seriously? And I made it a point not to harrass you with daily PM's like some people do to me all the time.

Its obvious that we are both very reputable sellers here, and I will also leave you good feedback, just want you to understand where I'm coming from. I was about to start a dispute/thread about you but also gave you the benefit of the doubt due to your feedback.

Anyway, sorry for the long post, but I just wanted to clear things up.

Thanks for your time!
