Question Going on a 3-week long vacation

My roommate and I will be going on a 3-week vacation so nobody will be home taking care of my baby (I mean my Z). Sadly speaking, I don't trust any of my other friends to help me to start up the car once in a while during my vacation. The question is, what could possibly happen if I don't exercise the engine for 3 weeks?

Please advise.

What's your address?

I'll take her out for you.

Seriously, not saying that anyone here would, but annoucing you are going to leave your car alone for 3 weeks on the internet isn't the safest thing to do.

Since your in CA I take it the temp stays pretty mild, little variation. If so, I don't think letting it sit for 3 weeks is going to do anything at all. Take out your battery and put it some place safe. (This'll also help the security)

When I got mine in March I was going away for a week and didn't want to leave it parked on the street in front of my house (a main road). There are wires hanging over the street and the birds in the Spring sh#t all over it. So I rented one of those self storage 10x20 units and stuffed the car in there for a while. It cost about $200 bucks for the month but to me it was well worth it.

You may have to look at a couple before you find one that will let you store a registered car. They mainly want old off-the-street type of cars in there. But they let me put mine in. I think it was the issue of having fuel in it. Look around. It's a pretty competitive business so I'm sure somebody will want your money.

PS. Yea, you don't have to worry about the battery or starting it. It will keep for three weeks.
