Question What to do first?

just wanted to get the opinion of some of the other members. What mod would you do first. I want to upgrade the factory sound system, you know speakers hu and maybe a sub, but I also really want to get some new shoes for my Z. I just can't decide which of these two projects I want to do first. Any suggestions?

Grounding Kit and an Exhaust is a nice starting point.

Default Just my two cents

The first thing I did was a matching color grounding kit...easy to do, low cost etc.

Then I did a matching color cold air intake from Injen...easy to do also, some would argue the OEM air intake is excellent which I think it is but I think the Injen allows for greater air flow and it looks good too also a plus if you upgrade exhausts later. Read all the pros and cons before you persue any CAI.

Many seem to really like the intake plenums from Crawford...I will be doing that early next year.

Also exhaust work will increase hp and db levels if desired. Many are doing manifolds, test pipes or high flow cats and then dual exhausts...again here it's personal preference and cash...research everything there is a lot of good info in here and a good bunch of people who know what their talking about.

Wheels and tires...if you got the $$$. Don't skrimp here.

FYI...I'm just a beginner...research,research,research.

great feedback. Thanks. Zland I checked out your post (which is awesom btw). I really don't know enough about mods to do anything drastic, plus I don't drive too hard. Just really looking to personalize the car a little bit and get some better sound than the stock speakers.

I'm leaning towards new rims first, just got to decide which ones to get. Once again thanks for all of your replies.
