Driving on snow and ice...
So this year was my first year to drive my 05 350z on snow since i've only been an owner for 1 year. I admit that at first I was a little scared after researching and watching failed youtube videos' I did not know what to expect but I threw on my big boy face and sled away and to be honest I had so much damn fun slipping all over the place and the handling was actually really good on about 2 inches of ice and 6 inches of snow on top.
After reevaluting all those videos I'm pretty sure some of those guys probably had no driving experience what so ever. The winter tires held up and my traction controll was never an issue. Where about to get dumped with another 4-10 inches of snow or ice here in Northwest Arkansas and i'm pretty pumped about going out again.

a guy i work with drives a g35 coupe without winter tires and he complained about traction at stops. I have the same issue at stops too where i'd get a lot of slippage when the light hits green. I think I was a little more prepared with the tires but overall the only thing I can complain about is the height. I'm not lowered but hearing all that scratching on the bottom of my car is really heart breaking. This is my daily driver and my wife drives a 2010 altima which handles perfect, if i had a choice it'd be parked and I'd take the wifes car if she didn't have to work.

stiff sway bars make an incredible difference as well.
The traction you maintain around turns is unreal.
w blizzaks tho of course.
Ram them on my Z32 in 40 below w no issues. That car was a trooper haha.

no issue here in the midwest. we dont get as much snow as some but the Z has seen a good amount this winter already. Doesn't do anything I dont tell it to and I dont even have winter tires, just a good set of all-seasons. I was honestly surprised how well it plows through crap, getting going takes a little finesse with the 6spd but iv never needed help getting into or out of anywhere yet.

I found a set of used pilot alpine pa3 with 90 percent still left on them at a local tire shop. Only paid 50 per tire which was a steal since new is around 180 I think. I've driven on ice too since where I live it's mostly ice, u should see the street in front of my house it's about an inch thick and been sitting a week mow with snow tomorrow
