Regardless of what the haters may say, VTR keep up the great work. Im at all the tracks and events and we all know which cars are actually out there putting down power and racing their cars. Vinny is one of the few shop owners I have seen come out to the track and support what he builds and backs it 110% of the time EVERYTIME.

If you notice Performance Motorsports East has been our #1 reseller since they started and thats not being deep in the pockets, thats the customers choice. The way they handle themselves, the way they talk to customers and the way they chose to market themselves speaks volumes about why they sell so much of our product.

It's not always about money, sometimes it's about ethics though and thats something you can't seem to comprehend. We'd rather have respect from customers than let everyone sell our products. Quality over Quantity as a business practice.

I'd love to open another NYC regional Pro Tuner and I'm always looking for a shop that handles themselves in a reasonable manner. Vince at R/T Tuning is our #2 volume retailer and isn't too far from the area, so obviously there are plenty of customers interested in our product. Which is why you'd want to mention our name in your announcement, you're trying to gain favor with customers interested in our product, and is why I have an issue with that. I want our customers to be treated not only with the respect they deserve but also with the support that we offer through our Pro Tuner network.

I find it laughable that you would continue to try and prove a point by stating that if a customer purchases a Stillen Supercharger kit, Treadstone Turbo kit, or Momentum Turbo Kit that you'd be tuning it with our product. Obviously we're the OEM tuning provider for those products. You aren't an authorized reseller of our products yet you still mention us. The customer could just as easily buy those same products for the same price from our Authorized resellers and receive better support. So I guess those Pro Tuners should thank you for pushing customers in their doors because you can't fully support them and why would someone spend that many thousands of dollars on forced induction to have it tuned by a shop that hasn't come to UpRev for training on our product, doesn't have continual support and updates on our products? If they buy from you and have a problem, they'll have to bring their car to Performance Motorsports East or R/T Tuning for support, they may as well just bring their cars to them in the first place.

Care to point out more flaws in your marketing or should I carry on?
It's a shame that, again, you force the customer to one specific shop, but that's your business and if that's the level you want to be at, that's fine.

You say they sell so much of your product... obviously, because you don't allow anyone else to! I find it "laughable" that you continue to say we are not an authorized reseller/dealer/distributor when, in the first place, we never mentioned we were. No one is going against what you're saying... you're arguing a point just to argue and to plug another shops name in the thread (which by the way, we did not buy the last remaining sponsor slot).

We will still be here, to provide for the Z & G community in every way, shape and form that we can, whether it be for parts, engine builds, service, tuning or basic questions. We didn't sign up on here to bash any shop, but to give the consumer the choice/option on where to bring their car.

If you read, I couldn't care less if he sells anything to anyone. He's representing himself to the public as a shop that is associated with our product.

Thats called misrepresentation. I'm not shitting on anyone, simply adding some truthiness to this thread. What exactly is the point of a shop that cannot sell our product mentioning our product? If he's so proud of the brands he is allowed to sell then he should talk about them, otherwise he's just advertising for Performance Motorsports East and R/T Tuning.

He clearly said that he is capable of tuning uprev, not that he is an uprev dealer/certified tuner so you started **** for no reason.

You have never even posted a shop build thread, you have never shared a single information with this forum, hell, you even didn't post the setup on your 6's Z when r0mey asked you in the (FI's TOP 50 List) thread...etc.

The only times I hear the name (VTR) in this forum is when your fan boys start to sign in to defend you and your work

RichAtUpRev. I think you should have PMed a mod or the OP before attacking him like that.

This is like Ford or Chevy telling the muffler shop down the street they aren't authorized to work on their cars so they can't mention to customers that they service them.

Rich, You'd have a case if he a.) said he was authorized or b.) said he sold your product. He did neither. You can't control who mentions your product. All you can and should do is make the benefits of going to an authorized tuner known in the community and point them to the list (and not do so in this thread).

Rule in favor of the defendant.

I never mentioned anything as far as the forum goes, I'm not disagreeing with you on that, but this is why we are signed up. Like mentioned before, we have been around the community since 2003, maybe not on the forums, but that does not mean we haven't been a huge impact on the community. I have every intention of posting up shop builds, custom work and data information. We have been signed up for one day, at least give me until the end of the weekend.

wow ..gtfo out haters...VTR is as legit as it comes...Great facility, people, great work and great tuning..vinny tuned my car and it never skipped a beat and ran very strong for what it is..vinny does great work ..period

this uprev tool needs to seriously get out of this thread, cause nobody cares, this is not a thread to promote any other business or uprev, totally unprofessional..if uprev was smart they would get on board with vinny and not come to a **** swinging contest with him, all this is doing for me is making me never want to even consider uprev because of the "great" business man behind the computer with no sense on here bashing and making his company look stupid

My biggest issue with UpRev is that they don't support competition!!! They really limit the market for thier product & experienced tuners. For me its a 4 hour drive one way to find a dealer!!!! Rich if your were smart you would get your product out there and let the CUSTOMER'S choose who they want to bring their car to!!!!!!!

It doesn't take an MBA to figure this out!.... Customer's will goto the shop with the most attention to detail, best customer service, most experience and highest technical ability!..

We the customers can choose for ourselves where we want to take our cars! Not you the dealer. I sure as hell don't have to drive four hrs to find a Nissan/Infinity dealership! When I purchase my Nissans I choose the shop that best represents my interests!... I have purchased 4 nissans in 2 years! I would like to get them all UpRev tuned but you know what?! I have better things to do then to drive them all 8 hrs round trip to have it done...

The funny thing is Uprev is no longer a Vendor, and VTR is. Who do you think the mods will side with.
