A friend of mine got his HR z tuned at performance motorsport. We took several trips down there being promised it was done. When we arrived, we were giving another story. Not cool in my book guys, as I live like 2hrs away. On top of that, the car is running rich as hell now, after driving it for less than 100 miles. I wouldnt bash VTR and then praise PM if I were you.

Wow rich if u had a problem with what vtr said then u should of pm'd him and not air this dirty Landry out in public. That just shows what kind of man u really are. I don't know neither shop and I prolly never will since I'm across the country, but from an inbiast opinion, rich u need to GTFO and stay out.

It doesn't take an MBA to figure this out!.... Customer's will goto the shop with the most attention to detail, best customer service, most experience and highest technical ability!..

When I purchase my Nissans I choose the shop that best represents my interests!... I have purchased 4 nissans in 2 years! I would like to get them all UpRev tuned but you know what?! I have better things to do then to drive them all 8 hrs round trip to have it done...

uprev is def. a great tuning software but the way this guys going about this is totally wrong and only hurting himself..and totally bringing it on himself too since VTR in no way was wrong here..this rich guy reminids me of julian and his bad business practices..and we know where he ended up

More info on the 8.33 second Z??? Build specs??? How long ago did that happen???

I just checked out the vid of it on your site. I knew about your 6 second tube chassis Z, but I never heard or knew about this 8 second car before and it's not listed in the Top 25 1/4 mile drag thread.

I went by VTR in late June early July to check out the shop because I've heard good things about them. The guy was in the middle of working on a car when he took a few mins to talk to me and and tell me about his shop, he said he needed to dyno a car because the customer was picking up the car that day but told me to hang out because he had pizza coming and after a few pulls on the car we could talk to see what I wanted to do with my car. The guy was totally cool. Good customer service!
If you read Rich's post you can see clearly that this is personal not business. A good businessman would not would not sh*t on a shop that produces good work and has a strong following....doesnt make "cents" nor "dollars" So let's see.... He makes VTR an a vendor and people like myself who want to use the uprev and and know's VTR sells and tunes it....buys it from VTR... Rich makes more money, which is the end result. If I were selling any product to Any shop that did good work and had a strong following I would be selling my product to them and the only thing I would have to say is....how many do you need?!

OH and I am not a businessman I'm a consumer!

Thats called misrepresentation. I'm not shitting on anyone, simply adding some truthiness to this thread. What exactly is the point of a shop that cannot sell our product mentioning our product? If he's so proud of the brands he is allowed to sell then he should talk about them, otherwise he's just advertising for Performance Motorsports East and R/T Tuning.
What did you do, see a post with VTR and Had to say something?

I dont know either of you, but your are coming across like a punk. JUst from this post, I wouldnt come to you for NOTHING. YOUR the one promoting your self. He's freaking helping your product along. You may not like him or whatever but dang If he's tuning with your stuff that still sells your product.

The Man is out there SUPPORTING the life style.

You just need to walk away from this post. Start your own.

I hate I wasted my time reading and replying to all this, but one this is sure....I would go to VTR 1st before you resellers or whatever.

Regardless you should have PM instead of this childish mess....Just my 2cents

I'll say this... we're all in it for the fun. Yes we have weekly meets from various shops in the area but us "customers" all put that aside and care what we care about most--- our pride of having fun with our cars.

Amen. Let the customers be the judge for themselves. VTR have been around a long time serving the Z and G community. I hear only good things about them. I have friends from our weekly meet group that I have their cars tuned or turbo installed by VTR and happy with their services. Welcome aboard VTR.

I met Vinny and his crew about 6 years ago at a track. They took time to check out our Supra and give some much needed pointers. Vinny even had his tuner check out the tune we were running that day. He didn't have to, he didn't ask for a dime. Not to mention they were preparing for a race. As far as I'm concerned, he's a stand up guy. I'm also sure that his business practices are the same.

1995 Supra 6spd, 940rwhp, raced 2000-2005.

To all of our friends, fans and customers. We wish to thank you for the outpouring love and support. Although we had no idea that our very first post would create so much controversy, we're humbled by the positive response. We at VTR specifically, Vinny Ten, has dedicated his entire career to import performance tuning and turbo charging. His philosophy was always to offer as many products and services as possible and let the consumer decide what’s best for them and where they would like to go with their build and tune. We have tried on several occasions to work with Up Rev and will continue to try to do so, so that we can bring another tuning software product to you, the end user and consumer.

As you know Vinny offers many competing software and products, however, he allows the consumer decide what’s best for their budget and needs, as this is the best way a free market will thrive thru choice and competition. He also feels that thru this process you will receive the best service and tuning as well… again, competition is good for the customer.

We here at VTR will continue to try to respectively earn your business every day. We realize in this fragile economy we take no customer for granted and understand how hard you guys work for every dollar and because of that we try everyday to bring the best products and service to you each and every time. Vinny has said to me on many occasions, “It’s not about me, the products or the vendors… its all about the customer. Because without knowing how to satisfy them and what their needs are, you might as well not even show up because they are the people that pay your bills.” Vinny has told me that if ever you feel that you ever were not treated well to personally email him at: vinny@vinnytenracing.com or you can e-mail me at: brandon@vinnytenracing.com

In the mean time I look forward to the meeting up with everyone at the Dyno shootout 3/26.

Thank you again for all the support!
