+1 for craigslist and ebay, etc...keep checking...also call the police and make a theft report....if you have pix of them on your car, paperwork, etc...that helps too

Check craigslist. It's a popular way for people to unload stolen merchandise.

If you find them, catch their assassination on video please.

Yes. With tires, it's likely to be almost $4000 minus his deductible. This is why we have insurance.

As others have said, not guaranteed, but certainly a deterrent. A good thief will get them off at some point, but if you make it too easy, well, you see what can happen.

Unless aftermarket parts are specifically called out on the insurance policy, they only cover for OEM items in their stock location. When I added special wheels to the policy on my 300, it added about $50/year to the comprehensive coverage. No need to do that for the 350, since OEM wheels with Bridgestone tires are more expensive than my RPF1 wheels with Dunlop tires.

Absolutely true, and great suggestion!

This is also why I have my wheels scribed with my name and phone number on the inside. A) If they get stolen and I find them on CL or other, I can be certain of it and B) A good wheel technician will at least as his boss if the name on the wheel matches the name of the customer asking for tires to be changed. A good boss will at least call the phone number after seeing the discretion. It's a long shot, but at least the cards are in place for it to be successful.

Exactly why I said it. I had to add coverage for my Volks and they would still only cover up to $1000 for aftermarket .

There is this medium-security thing called a locked garage. Instead of trying to find wheel locks, just buy new wheels and put your car in a garage.

Because those are the only two nice wheels that get put on Zs right?

OP, don't worry, insurance pays out like crazy on wheels. from the dealer stock wheels are worth $1100 each + tires. So expect a pretty hefty cheque and be able to get in to some baller wheels no problem and definitely some wheel locks this time!

haha i guess you dont park your car anywhere but your garage then, i do drive mine to lunch and to work sometimes. in your mind 04 6 spoke are nasty, look damn good on my car powdercoated and spaced 20mm. go stock children. or stock gtr wheels.

04 rims are for my car to sit on during the winter so my real rims and tires dont get flat spotted or damaged.

and yes 04 rims are the ugliest out of all of them. there is a reason they are so cheap.
