I seafoamed my car right before I went to the dealer for other services. My usual guy was sick, so the adviser asked if I wanted to get my fuel injectors cleaned ($177). I said no, do you think seafoaming it was enough of a clean?(Lots of white smoke during seamfoaming btw).
That is basically the same as an intake service,we just use a container that has a fan nozzle that goes in the intake right before the throttle body.It hooks up to shop air and send a pressurized spray into the intake trac.It cleans the whole trac including the throttle body. Most injector cleaning consists of diableing the fuel pump, and running the car off of a cleaning solution, problem with that is it cleans only the inside of the injectors, top of the pistons, and the exhaust port.
If you use a dealer service center for ANYTHING other than WARRANTY work
you are a certified IDIOT MORON that deserves to get SCREWED.
Not if you're friends with the head GTR tech who hangs with the local Z group. Even if it is a 20 mile drive for work I take my car to him and ONLY him.
