Just wondering with recent gas price hike how much everyone is paying? cheapest for 93 premium I found is 3.43 here in southern, nj. If I use mid grade 89 would that be really bad for my z?

 

Premium gas by my house is $3.70-3.85

Don't get the cheaper stuff. It only comes out to an extra $2-5 a tank. I don't drive much or go very far when I do so it never really made a difference for me to spend the extra 5-10 bucks a month on premium.
I can see how it would make a big difference though if you go through gas really quick.

EDIT- Just noticed you said for 93 octane. I don't think we even have that here in vegas. I think its 91 or 92 octane as premium. Only higher octane I know of is the few gas stations that sell 110. That stuff was $7 two years ago,it's probably around 10 now.

Anyways,if the mid grade where you live is 91 or 92 you should be fine.

$0 right now, as I'm deployed, but as paying about $3.30 on base. Off base is another story... never gotten gas off base in the year and a half I've been on island... $3.80 to $4.50, depending on where you go.

 

6,40 euro gallon so that is around 9 dollar per gallon......................................

and don't get me started on the prices of new performance cars here....

I love that I have to pay more for something of which there is not a smaller amount simply because some d**k in Lybia is ruining it for everyone....

 

I'm paying like 3.40 for 87; Z is in storage.

The only time I ever put something less than 92 in my Z is when I wasn't paying attention and added 2 gallons of 87. That was promptly followed by 17 gallons of 92 (usually keep tank between 3-8 gallons) and driving it like a ***** for two weeks.

If your Z is stock 89 won't hurt it, but it certainly won't help it.
