I've heard its better to actually drive it right away and warm it up quicker because at start up is where most of the wear comes in...

are you sure people stare at your car? Not being an ***, but I have gotten over breaking my neck looking at exotic cars. I don't think people in vegas would stare at a z.

Imo exotic or not, some just plainly abuse sports cars

^^I've driven my Z to vegas multiple times--no issues. Sure there are speed bumps and steep ramps, but careful driving and the right angle of approach make it a non-issue.

That said, as others have mentioned, I NEVER valet my car. My friend was a valet for a while in one of the best hotels in LA, and his stories still make me cringe.

OP-Sorry to hear about it. I would try to get a higher-up manager in the Mandalay Bay hotel on the phone. They at least may comp a weekend and give you a nice deal to offset the price of repairs. See what your insurance company says too.

i've driven my z a couple times. i've valeted both times because i was affraid of someone breaking in and/or stealing anything. both times they kept my car up front since i warned them about a 4 point brace i used to have that hung too low. but i feel like $100 bucks for a rental vs damages to my car far from home... probably not worth the risk.

This is not a easy fix. Front bumper fixtures are broken or bent. Sorry.

Sorry to hear, OP. But I don't think valet/hotel would be responsible for your damage though.

Update on my valet situation, mandalay is going to pay for all the damages and a rental car.

So for all the socal guys where is 2 bodies shops that are legit that i can get a quote from? I have to find 2 for mandalay so they can see what the average between the 2 are.
