Question Torrance Nissan

Hi All. Anyone from Southern CA buy their Z from Torrance Nissan? If so, how was your experience? I may be placing an order for a Z from them this weekend. Were you able to get a price below MSRP?

I bought my wife's Pathfinder from Torrance Nissan, I went through the fleet manager. Got a great deal. When I went to buy my Z, I went to the same person (May 03) but they wouldn't budge off MSRP. So much for forging a relationship with a dealer. I ended up at Mossy Nissan in Oceanside because Mossy's one price pricing was $700 below MSRP. I would suggest giving them a call before ordering a car from Torrance at MSRP. How much below MSRP will depend on which model you go for and what options it has. Also, if a particular color isn't selling well, you are more likely to get it cheaper, if that is a trade off you are willing to make.

happy Z-ing!!

Thanks for the reply Mikestro. Which fleet manager did you deal with? BTW, I'm trying to get a Daytona Blue Enthusiast 6 speed. Wish me luck!

It was a chick, can't remember her name. Only female fleet manager there.

Good luck Bertg!!! Just shop around, I am sure you can find something. I remeber it was hard finding a enthusiast from my shopping days.

Courtney Clark was my salesman at Torrance Nissan. I got the Z when it just came out without pre-order and the only mark up was the $2k for chrome wheels. That's about a $1,400 mark up but back then, I'd say it was worth it.

More importantly, the service there has been simply the best. I needed a new tranny due to the grinds, no problem. I just complained about check oil light and low oil pressure which comes up before scheduled oil changes and they say, you need a new motor. No problem. If these guys weren't so awesome, I would go over to Performance Nissan just to support Jeff and his crew.

Service manager Brett Lang, my autotech Mike and the service director Brian have taken care of all my Zs service needs perfectly. And, I'll travel the 60 mi round trip because I trust these guys.

Good luck.
