Any Z owners consider the new Infiniti G35?

Just curious if any folks here considered the G35. And, if you did, why the 350Z or why not?

Same 6MT as the Z has. Same 5AT as the Z has. Just 4 seats.

I was leaning toward buying the G35c but decided to get the Z instead. The extra seats would have come in handy but I had a 1989 2+2 supra and rareley used those seats.

Also, I didnt like the rear end of the G35c. It looks huge in pictures and in some angles, the low license plate makes it look like a chipmunk.

Just my opinion

The G35 sedan was my top candidate until the Z came along. I am giving my '95 Maxima to my youngest kid. Our other vehicle is the Honda Odyssey. So, I have no need for a 4 doors/seats car any more. I already ordered the Z when the G35C news and pictures were available.

If you have an occasional need for 2 back seats, I think the G35C is an excellent alternative to the Z.
