So I'm driving on I4 racing a mustang and instead of shifting into 5th I shift into 3rd and my toms go to 7500 for a second. Got that horrible clutch burning smell and I pretty much punched myself in the face. Could that blow my engine or should it be not a big deal if it happens once in a lifetime?

if you were quick enough to realize and push the clutch in fast youll be fine, also just warning you the mods do not like promot street racing so be ready to get reemed
Don't stress - I am pretty sure that just about everybody here has made a mistake or twenty..... Just make sure you learn from it. And if you had hurt it, in 99% of the situations like yours, you would have known about it right away. Don't stay up at night worrying about that other 1%
