Default New member looking for an 07'-08' Z

Hey new member here, not new to forums though! Let me give you a brief description about me:

My name is Matt, i'm 24 years old and I am in the USAF (7 years now). I used to own a 240sx and this is where I fell in love with Nissan's. Right now I own a 2001 Mustang ( hides from impending flame wall ) and it will be paid off soon so I have decided that I want to get a Z next.

I want a 2007 or 2008 Coupe (not a convertible fan) and I just had a few questions about the Z. What are some Pros and Cons about the Z that I should look for? What do you love most, and what do you dislike most about your Z?

Thanks for your time.

Read all the threads on the forum about problems with the transmission and clutch, and then look for an automatic.

Great cars, few quirks just like any other car. Make sure you don't get a Barbie car like winchman has.

The best way to learn about the 350Z is to drive one. If you are not impressed then it is time to move up to the RSX.

Just got an 08 after 13 years of driving Nissans, former cars were 02' Infiniti G20,99' Sentra SE (SR20),and the old KA powered 99' Altima.I had fears about getting a Z,but I love them since they came out in 03.I finally took the plunge and couldnt be happier.I have already put about 2200 miles on the car and I love it.I bought it with 24K on it and one owner...pros,power of course, decent gas mileage for a V6 sport coupe, and I actually like the simple interior.

Cons, of course space is confined for trunk, needs premium gas, some rattles here and there(I have 1 at this time) and thats about it for me,I absolutely love the car despite the rattles and suspension issues I have read about on here...
