Kind of apples and oranges isn't it? I mean, going from a G to a Benz might be a little different. But you went from a 2 seater sports car to a luxury car. There really isn't a comparison. Especially given that the Benz is almost twice the price.

My only guess is that you finally retired and plan on living out your golden years in the Benz with a bunch of cats.

 

Luxury seday vs Sportcar?? I'll stay with my Z. I am 57. Maybe when I get old I'll look for a C class. Until then . . . its a 350Z MT!!

Congrats on the Benz. I had one out of warranty and it cost me an arm and a leg to repair. Great car overall though and black looks good on the new E.

 

~ e350 triple black with black wood sport package with navi. sexy as hell and classy. is it fast - hell no. is it rock solid at 120mph - hell yes. and the best thing is that i don't care about what kind of oil , gas , or any other BS that is costing way too much. 1 oil change a year and in 2 years i will be in a new one. if all is well, the new c-coupe amg maybe. or any other amg. i had to sell my z because it was a part of my previous life... to many memories.... some times we need a total reset - and that is what i did.

You just bought the German equivalent to a V6 Accord EX-L.....will all 268HP of fury......and the Accord gets WAY better gas mileage.

Could've atleast gone with the 550 before calling out Nissan/infinity "gayness"

Wayyyy to many haters. This world has become one where people can't be happy for others successes? It's a beautiful car, the quality of them is very nice as well. Anyone who says they would rather drive a 15k dollar dated 350z is only fooling themselves because they don't have the ability to own something better. I know you can't compare the two (ones a sports coupe and one is a luxury sedan) Again, this is a Z site and I get the brand loyalty, but this guy was a part of this site for a while and provided the z community with input, sales and purchases of products, and even a nicely built z that a new owner will enjoy. Congrats again man.

That's not 100% true Redline. When I bought my NISMO I was actually looking at the Audi TT. I hated it. I then test drove the Z4 which had NO power! The better car of the three was definitely the Z and it was less expensive. I loved my BMW 335I until the warranty ran out and it started having issues. Lots of $$$$ to fix!

Looks good to me (with a little work). I didn't like them when they first came out but they have grown on me.
